Welcome back to a full Parkrun POV, this time at Pontefract. Unfortunately, fast fingers Craig deleted the intro video so no Sister Mandy this week. Contiuing the epic fail i describe as a 2 lap course with a loop around a body of water. What i meant to say is a 1 lap course with 2 laps round the lake. It was a very stressful day. But don't worry, I've a second video upload coming this week.

Well done, Craig 💪 I live in fear of deleting video files by mistake. Glad you managed to recover most of yours. I remember one time when Rachel D posted a video, where she said she'd accidentally deleted a whole video's worth of footage. She was so upset, she was thinking about quitting RU-vid 😢 Thankfully she came back strong after a while.

Thanks Mark it was probably one of the most stressful Saturdays. I honestly was gutted and almost blew 90 notes on recovery software that turns out, didn't recognise the file type to reconstruct it in recovery. Very valuable lesson learnt. I completely get why Rachel D would have got so upset . Will definitely be taking more care in the future 🤪

Well done, Craig. Another solid parkrun. Not had chance to do Ponty before. Looks a busy one and paths look bumpier than thought they would. Ps. Must’ve been a bit of a panic after intro was lost. These things happen.

Thanks Colin, appreciated as always 🙏 Yes it is a busy one but understandably so, quite a special one I reckon. Definately keen to go back and improve the time. I was surprised by the bumpyness. Sister Mandy enjoyed it so much so she ignored the last turn and continued a climb for a bit extending her run haha. It was a massive panic. After a few weekends of races i was looking forward to getting a parkrun uploaded again and when I thought I lost it all I was mortified. Mandy's upset she's missing from the video lol

Strong performance there Craig and very big sprint at the end💪I dislike hills but I love running next to water😀That’d look lovely on a sunny day. It’s hard when you opt to start from the back, reminds me of Ryan and I at Isabel Trails, I reckon you’d have been 24:15 if you’d started at the front💪

Cheers Andy, yeah track work starts again tomorrow I hope if my leg behaves so a bit more speed coming soon at the end of these parkruns. Had a few weeks of less running with there being a number of consecutive races so the legs have been beaten up a bit. Would 100% recommend this one it really was ace 👍
