PONTYPOOL PARKRUN! The location of the legendary Pontypool Front Row! Join me as I provide an in-depth review of the Pontypool parkrun experience and the Pontypool park and football and rugby club surroundings. This is a two lap course. It is relatively flat with a few gentle climbs, one short sharp climb, two 90 degree turns and two 180 degree turns. The route follows tarmac paths within the Park but is liable to some flooding in bad weather particularly near the start / lap turn around. It is a nice and quiet parkrun with usually around 105 attendees, therefore, you will find that you can spread out quickly and there is no congestion at the start. A nice scenery for a parkrun and a great atmosphere too! This is the 25th parkrun I have recorded (1/4 of the way through Cowell Club Challenge) of which you can find a playlist of them on my channel!

I will be doing parkruns all over the UK and rest of the world! Every Saturday I take part in a 5K run trying my hardest to get under 20 mins. Pontypool parkrun is a parkrun towards the East side of Pontypool, South Wales. It is a great run to tick off the "P" on the alphabeteer challenge. Let me know if you have ever completed the course.
