Pooch Hall is an amazing actor. He nailed the role of Derwin in the Game and Ray Donovan show. I see comments on his weight gain. He looks fine to me and I have seen recent full body shots of him. He handsome. He is a mature man that is a husband and a father to teenage kids. Best wishes Pooch Hall

It's funny. Today I was watching the episode of Girlfriends that introduced the original characters of The Game and I thought to myself Pooch Hall was a better Derwin. I believe it was because of the chemistry with Tia Mowry-Hardrict.

The Game went to a drama but attempted to still land jokes with no laugh track. Blue was awful, Keira also awful. I liked Pookie being a reference and not an actual character, but nope, they had to bring him in. Brittany was annoying too. Chardonnay seemed to be a "let's get Brandy on the show" character. The Boondocks was right about BET

I remember the game pilot came on in the place of Girlfriends with Aldis Hodge who played Lynn's brother on Girlfriends. Pooch was a much better Derwin.

Yo I’m literally rewatching The Game now like this was really the best show ever I loved it it was so real life situations...the best show was season 3 the last episode at the end with Derwin and Melanie when he got the call about the baby coming and had to leave Melanie at the alter but later on she came to the hospital and slept but when she seen that baby and Elton John was playing in the back we both cried together cause I’ve been Melanie in that same situation and it hurts so bad I felt her pain on that episode then they ran away and got married like that shit was so emotional I love that show...Derwin and Melanie was the best thing that happened to that show once they left the show went downhill and was never the same! But big shout out to my girl Tasha Mack!!!

I watched the episode from girlfriends and thank goodness they replaced derwin and Kelly. The original Kelly was good but she just didn’t look the part of a gold digging former cheerleader and sorry but the original Darwin could not act his way out of a paper bag. Aldis can act now that he’s been in the industry longer but at the time he was so young and bland.
