Great video but as far as the rack is concerned it depends on the rules that are being played by if it’s random or if the 3 and 2 go in the corner

Great video. It appears a dead on center cue break works the best. I played a million games of 9 ball & used to just break for hours of 9 ball for practice. I had the best results from just off the side rail. I noticed you didn’t hit this 10 ball rack with cue just off side rail. Just that spot have low odds or not nearly as successful as that side rail spot as in 9 ball? Thx
@LilChrisPoolPlayer
@LilChrisPoolPlayer 10 месяцев назад
You can still break from the side rail and try to make the 1 in the side pocket

Great video, a tight rack is essential for a good break. Wondering if your cell cam has 240 frames per second with slow motion?. Slow mo clips would be interesting and educational.

You should do a rail shot vid. Alot of people struggle with rail shots.

I love it. Dig, The Hustler stills. I watch it over and over. I washed a rug for a young woman named Piper. Turned out her father was Brian De Palma, the director of the film, Carrie. Piper Laurie played the mother.

Is there a way to pattern rack the balls to your benefit? 1. On the spot and 2 and 3 corner. What about the other balls?

Don't really know a set to compare the Cyclops set to other than Aramith and I like them both. The felt on my table is Simonis.

Is there any pros and cons between your the classic break and the regular break(by that i mean you shoot the one ball sqaure and popping the cueball back to the center of the table) Please answer because i am curious to know

hey bro... ur video is the best... i need some advise... i been playing on a table that is lean for one side an the felt on the table is tear .... i miss most my shots ... thats the only table here for me to play on an the owner na want level it nor change the felt.... can u advise me hw to make my shots...
@LilChrisPoolPlayer
@LilChrisPoolPlayer 4 года назад
For tables that have a lean to them, you just have to practice how hard you have to shoot a ball without losing control, so that the object doesn’t have time for the table to make it lean.

How about if it's rack your own NO template!
@LilChrisPoolPlayer
@LilChrisPoolPlayer 3 года назад
The template rack allows you to learn where the balls are actually supposed to go if racked correctly. When you're not using a template rack you can still get "close" to a perfect rack, but chances are there might be a gap or two in the rack. This of course would alter the spread of the break, but it really shouldn't be by much. Unless, of course, there are either too many gaps or the gaps are too big to which I would ask, "Why would you rack for yourself that badly?"
@tristanplays7377
@tristanplays7377 4 года назад
Why can't you break with slight topspin sothat the cue ball can pop off from the head ball like what all pros do in 8 ball,9 ball and 10 ball racks
@trancus11

You’ve got funky colored 6 and 7. Never seen that in person. That’s a new thing with pro sets?

The set of balls I use is the Cyclops Zeus. This set doesn't exist anymore.
@trancus11

@@LilChrisPoolPlayer i like the Cyan/Mint better than the Maroon. The Maroon 7 gets lost amidst the 3, 4, and 8 sometimes -especially playing a rotation game. The green apple 6 is nice but the original emerald 6 is very fine too. I don’t go for the pink 3 or tan 7. Your set is nice. I enjoy your videos. The simple bank system really helped me.
@MJH211
@MJH211 4 года назад
Skyler Woodward said 10b is much easier to break cuz 9 balls track towards pockets. I think called shot 9ball would be the best game to watch
@bowow0807

Chris I have a question, in both break methods, are you still aiming as if you're hitting the 10ball?
@LilChrisPoolPlayer
@LilChrisPoolPlayer 4 года назад
On the second way of breaking, since I’m more straight with the 1-ball I’m more focused on the 1-ball instead of the 10.

@@LilChrisPoolPlayer Thanks Chris! Had to take a break from pool for a while since I ended up snapping the ferrule of my cue since I was having a really bad day and because of the holidays, can't take it to the cue repair shop. Gonna have to buy a new tip too since the old one needed to be replaced anyway. Happy New Year to you and yours!
