Loved your conversion and am looking at doing something like that. I am in the process of converting my 30,000 gal pool to a pond. It was salt water so I had to empty. Right now I am trying to convert it to a pool without effecting the pool itself. Currently there is a 10 year old liner in it but under the liner is concrete. When I develop a leak I plan to do a more permanent modification. What did you paint your pool with so it does not leak?
Hi Sue, good luck with your conversion. I can honestly say we have never spent more time around the pool then we do now. The perch are getting bigger and the goldfish just keep breeding. My pool is concrete and had no leaks. I just painted the sides with a pond paint designed to go over cement which I got from Bunnings (im in Australia) at a reasonable price, $60 or so for 2 litres.
