Canadian here, haven’t been to lake Louise in winter but the whole lake freezes and it’s beautiful, you can walk on it and get a lovely view of the Rockies surrounding you. In summer, it’s the most stunning shade of teal blue and there’s wildlife everywhere, I would highly recommend!!

Alberta resident here, if you’re going to do lake Louise sometime, I recommend going in the early fall, and setting aside at least a week to go from Banff to jasper on highway 93. It’s gorgeous that time of year, tourism is fairly low, and the camping and hiking is fantastic

Albertan here 🙋🏻‍♀️… Lake Louise is beautiful in March it’s still ski season and not as cold as winter month. June is also a great time to visit it’s summer weather and not as much crowds. Lake has such gorgeous blue colour and you should be able to rent canoes at that time!!

As a Canadian follower of y’all’s for quite some time I love how wholesome y’all are, especially them kids just out there being kids, and as to Mere’s bucket list, Lake Louise is probably one of the best areas of western Canada to visit. With Banff, Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Cave and Basin and all the various hiking, skiing, and hot springs, Radium and Banff to name a couple, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go there! and let me know so I can show y’all the area or what I know of it being a tourist myself. Jk but really do go it’s phenomenal you may even like it better than Colorado for skiing but I’ll leave that up to you
