After further research I discovered the standard buckets can be used with the manure if the fill trigger tools mod is used www.farming2015mods.com/farming-simulator-2017-mods/fs-17-implements-tools/fs17-filltrigger-tools-1-1-2-0/

Handy tip, if you decide to do a silage load to sell. You recall on The West Coast it looked like you ought to be able to tip silage into the "trigger" at the silo? On The Valley The Old Farm You can, just raise the ramp, back up to the silo and drop an entire trailer load in there. Very handy.

HoneyBadger I wasn't sure it would work, or if the ramp was just there to drive your telehandler or whatever up for convenience, but I gave it a try with the wagon first and in it all went. Marvellous feature, only wish more maps had it.

The gate you found is good if you want to store the manure, if you want it for the greenhouses use the gate in the other end its closer

you need plenty of hay for winter so would do most of the fields hay and plz buy a field near farm 2

Please do hay bales and wrap them with the Kuhn square bale wrapper. When you play with seasons you can wrap hay and they won't turn into silage bales. It's very often done in real life when there is no space inside a shed to keep them there.

To be honest I think you invested in the green houses at a wrong time. IMO you should only buy a green house if you have manure to spare. In real life you wouldn't do it this way neither and just go ahead and buy a manure shop to place at your own farm. At least you should have placed the manure shop at another place at the map so it would be something you went and bought with a trailer

I got tired of spraying all summer, every summer. So now I spread manure/slurry after the fall harvest, use a planter in the spring that also fertilizes and then I spray once in the summer, there's my 3 fertilizations.

Excellent video. They are all good, but today you did a lot of different jobs, something for everybody. The yellow farm is perfect for players keen on bigger production placeables, such as compost, seed and fertilizer. Thank you for the tip about the fill trigger tool. Will try out the CSZ manure tools. I can't get the Farming Tablet to work on this map.

Daggerwin for even more realism you should wait until the cows have produced maybe 50,000 l of manure and then use the same gate you passed through to give them water, but this time using it for what it was actually meant for that would be pushing all of the manure from inside the barn to the outside where you have the spreader parked, cleaning the manure would be a job you have never done in FS17

Daggerwin, when I did greenhouses, I used a conveyor belt to deliver the muck in a trailer, then tipped the trailer at each GH.

You do get money every hour from the greenhouses, it just doesn't give an alert. Supplied with water and manure, they give double the amount shown in the shop page, so $150 per hour each. Watching your funds at the change of every hour, you were getting $700 an hour.

You can fill a trailer from the manure shop by pressing R you could heap it up then fill the greenhouses with wheel loader

I feel like the feeding of the animals (bales) takes a bit long. Can the skid steer handle 2 bales? Maybe take more bales at one time. Sorry if I sound picky.

The problem I have is the mileage my JCB has to do between manure sell point and all of my green houses. Is there a variant of a chaser bin which takes manure? There is a 'small' one in the AR Frame pack which takes 16000litres. A much larger one of say 50 or 60000litres would be of more use. Then it can be filled at the manure point(s) and the bins at the green houses filled like water tanks.

Since you have fields all over the map, the Unimog might be a good option for fertilizing since the transport speed is so much faster... I don't know if that is realistic though

The Manureshop mod is on modhub www.farming-simulator.com/mod.php?lang=en&country=us&mod_id=86476 as are the Filltrigger Tools - www.farming-simulator.com/mod.php?lang=en&country=us&mod_id=79572 - be careful if downloading from farming2015mods, the filltrigger download from there got blocked by anti-virus and there are some real dodgy ads/redirects (despite using adblock, popup blocker and more).
