Also, very weak effort here by the people trying to stop the dog. The owner acts like he is not even trying or is afraid of his own dog. The one guy had the right idea by trying to put a stick in the mouth of the dog to open the mouth, but he was not going to be able to do that with the thin stick he had and how far away he was. That was an American Pitbull. They were bred to latch onto and hold animals like bulls, bears, wild boar, and other dogs. You are not going to get one to let go by holding the back legs or using a thin stick to try to open the jaw while standing like five feet away.

But the real strength of the Pitbull's bite is not how strong the bite force is but how much surface area they can cover and how well they can latch on. They have shorter muzzles than most dogs and have wider mouths. That allows them to get a full bite well and be more difficult to shake or pull off.
@@Tom20085 That is possible that some people could have been afraid of the Pitbull, but I know that could not be the case for the owner. If he really had fear of the dog, he would not have it. And he does not seem to have any problem being around the dog.
Anyone who is reading this. If this happens, and preferably if the attacking dog is wearing a collar. Grab the collar, twist and pull upward with variable strength. This will cut off the dog’s air supply for a few seconds - but long enough to allow the other dog to go free. In this case, they had rope. Fasten the rope around the dog’s neck, twist and pull upward. Make sure you unfasten the rope quickly after the other dogs goes free, so the attacking dog doesn’t pass out. Learn how to take care your dogs. This was probably fatal- most of all, the pulling of the other dog could’ve made things tremendously worse.
If you do this at the top of the neck it’s more effective. It actually cuts of blood flow to the brain and causes the dog to let go. But likely you said release the grip when the dog lets go otherwise you could kill the dog. Another tactic is to grab the dog’s waist on either side just in front of the legs squeeze and lift up. This causes the dog to drop whats in its mouth and can snap them out of it. Or a kick in that spot will also work if you can’t get a hold of the dog. I’m a dog trainer and own over 35 dogs and wolfdogs trust me this works

This is why it is a terrible idea to have dogs just running the streets. Street dogs should not even be a thing. As many dogs as possible should be tied or secure in a home or kennel. Allowing for dogs to just roam the streets is dangerous for people, pets, and even the dogs themselves. Another thing to take into account that the majority of case of humans getting rabies in certain countries are from street dogs, and most of the victims are children.

you have to grab your dog by the collar and at the same time squeeze below the throat as hard as you can with your hand so that the dog can't breathe anymore, this usually takes 5-10 seconds and then dog opens his mouth because he wants to breathe. En este video hay 3 problemas muy notables. El primero es cuando lo estaban intentando separar lo amarró de las patas en vez de el cuello para que soltara Segundo la forma que lo intentaron esta mal como mínimo tenían que hacer una palanca con palos o al menos intentar sepáralos por que eso no es intento de calmar las cosas Tercero y último si querían que el perro soltara puede que se vea mal pero tenían que darle un pequeño golpe en las patas para que sintiese algo y así soltar al perro no necesario un golpe fuerte para noquearlo solo es para que suelte no una gravedad

You realize you don’t see the dog after they break up the fight? Straight to the kitchen. Dogs are a staple to the diet in the Philippines. True story. That's not a pitbull APBT it's a mutt. Breed bans have shown to be ineffective in dog bite stats & end up thousands of innocent dogs being put down. What we need is to have anyone getting a dog take classes test (similiar to a drivers license) so they are more informed therefore more likely to be responsible owners.

For an owner of 4 dogs, I find this truly disturbing, if that were one of my dogs I wouldn't just sit back and record, my hands would be in that sick dogs mouth and I would even hurt myself to free my dog, whatever it takes; a leg or an arm.. I don't care
I think huge part of problem is the people look at all the stray or unleashed dogs running around that craphole. Irresponsible uneducated owners/people created the unsafe environment & then couldn't be bothered to get off their butts to help breakup the fight. Every dog owner should know how to breakup a fight. Hitting dog almost always ramps the fight up. Pouring water seldom works. Best options in this situation, using a handheld tazer to incapacitate the aggressor, use rope or lead on aggressors neck artery to briefly cut off blood & air supply so dog releases or picking up hind legs (like if the dog was a wheelbarrow), holding them as high up as possible to make them lose grip on other dog hold or contain the aggressor until someone can get the other dog out of the area. Another option requires more people, which we can tell from this video that other people weren't willing to help. But if you have 2 people hold the aggressor, another person on the other dog ready to pull the dogs away immediately when another person use a break stick to pry the jaws loose even better if you have an additional person with a large board to to use as a visual & physical barrier between the dogs while getting the injured dog out of there. I've volunteered at Animal Shelter for 3 decades & unfortunately, fights occur, so we have to be trained & ready to act.

Actualmente hay hasta tres métodos efectivos para que suelte el perro, si hablas así estás desactualizado y estás en pos de la ignorancia lamentablemente ... 1-"Mata leones" es uno. 2-"Apretarle la tráquea", con mano o con cinturón. 3-Patada en la cabeza, darle con algo duro en la cabeza (martillo, piedra) para que suelte y no romperle el cráneo al perro. 4-Meterle los dedos en los ojos... 5-" Patada bien dada en la cabeza del perro" en la zona de la mejilla. Estas últimas son duras pero más durísima es la mordedura del Pitbull cada segundo...
