videos like this make me so grateful that my mom was an “uneducated” entrepreneur who started a business launching small businesses! anyone can start a business, you don’t even need a start up fund if you’re smart. i’m so lucky to have her as for medical reason i’m unable to attend even high school so higher education was out of the question, but i’m starting a business soon and i’m so grateful to not feel like my life is over because i didn’t finish traditional schooling, i feel like i can do anything i want ❤

We should never judge people for their lack of college/university education because they might be way smarter than we think! 4:43 this is wrong with this society nowadays. People who did not graduate college are assumed as incapable, immature, and unprepared for professional work. So many employers would require a 4-year degree for jobs that can be done perfectly by people who did not even graduate high school, but I never knew that even banks would have this kind of mentality that a person who does not have a 4-year college degree doesn't know how to run a business. This mentality causes disqualification of competent and capable people from jobs or bank loans. So many billionaires like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, or Mark Zuckerberg do not graduate college, so other people who did not graduate college could definitely have the capacity to do things, and research shows no difference between college graduates and non-college graduates in terms of maturity and capacity to do middle-skilled jobs.

Thank you so much, Dhar Mann for this! I'm half Chinesse and half American and I mispronounced a lot of words and I still do till this very day. People use to look at me and correct me kind of in a mean way. But your video taught me to not be ashamed and love myself for who I am. People can only judge you if you tell them what it is you're about to do. I told no one that I was starting a pet sitting business and it took 3 months for them to figure out that something was up and I finally told them but by then I'd already been on for websites and was creating my own website. I worked my butt off for 6 months and got the feeling that I was doing it for nothing and two weeks later I got a phone call about a job and that started to snowball rolling now I've had several jobs and I've done it with no help from friends or family you just got to believe in what you're doing and what you want and know that sometimes you have to go It alone. If they want to help great but do it without judging or forget it! You have to lay boundaries with people otherwise they'll stomp all over him and your dreams. Take care of yourself and know that you can do this whatever it is you set your heart on!
