@@spycrab2673not in the arkham games its the same for the most part with Jason being kidnapped and tortured but joker didn't kill instead he just repeatedly tortured him and showed him that batman had already got robin (Tim drake) and that made him feel betrayed and abandoned by the one person ue trusted most and he just went insane
@@BepoD.Bear25 Actually, it did show that Joker killed Jason in the Arkham games. Joker even said "Boy I do sure hate tattle tails," or something like that
If I'm not mistaken this red hood had to suffer even longer than the main red hood from the animated series, he was manipulated more too. Damn man his voice sounds heartbreaking here
Yeah, he was tortured for a year by the Joker and shown that Batman had gotten a new Robin. He believed Batman had just tossed him aside and replaced him and was slowly pushed to madness and hating Batman by the Joker over the course of that year.
When you add the context of how severe Jason’s torture was, this scene is even more heartbreaking. I read somewhere that there were logs from Prisoners in Asylum talking about how Joker forced them to ‘do things’ to another inmate, and it’s alluding to Jason. He went through so much more than just a crowbar to the face a few times
@@SuperstitiousWolf Yes, he was not only beaten in a multitude of ways and branded with a J, but was also sodomized, molested, and rped by other inmates
@@SweetVictory270 The problem is to say right up front that murder would be good as an attack in any situation. As I said, if there is no other option, you should only do it in self-defense.
In Batman's eyes all of his villains are broken people that in some way can be "fixed". As Henry said in the campaign: "so desperate to see the good in people, specially the bad"
Jason is personally one of my favorite DC characters if not my all time favorite, he's just so interesting and points out Batman's flaws with his "Do not kill" law, like in Under The Red Hood, I haven't seen it in a decent while but from what I remember he points out how if Batman just killed the Joker, hundreds of not thousands of people would not have died, including Jason, which is one of the big ones, I hope he returns in the new Batman universe, hopefully in The Batman 2 he's at least introduced as a Robin and later on becomes Red Hood.
Ehhh I couldn’t care less if they forget about him the best dc stories come from nightwing anyways because if Grayson gets introduced we get thousands of new characters and storylines
@@ASS-tb3mqmm not really, if that's your way of thinking then technically it would be batman since because of batman we got introduced to Grayson. Also Jason introduced the audience to a bunch of different characters as well.
@@ASS-tb3mqbruh this whole comment section disagrees with u why u gotta hate then bring up nightwing obviously u jus like him more and don’t like the praise Jason is getting rn.
@@ASS-tb3mq obviously u do if u made it clear when it was never needed that Grayson gets the best stories that’s not a fact that an opinion and many disagree with u sorry ig🤷🏽♂️
Thats Troy Baker for you, he also voices Joker in Arkham Origins, Joel Miller in the Last of Us games, Batman in Batman vs TMNT, Shalaska Revolver Ocelot in MGSV The Phantom Pain, and some others I'm not sure of or can't think of off the top of my head.
Imagine those days turns into 2 years where a 12 year old boy was abandoned by his adoptee/idol to be brutally tortured by the Joker and the rouges galley and molested by the Joker and Harley Quinn in the Arkham Asylum comics.
That's real man. Modern hero's have nearly been romanticized into non killing white knights, but the hero's of old we're men of Valor who have taken lives on the fields of battle.
@@BtolHikobra batman is already a vigilante which is a crime itself, him killing joker won't change anything and besides he can burn his body and nobody will know, stop thinking with your as* bra

In the game or in general? In the comics he more or less good with the family. He’s pretty on and off with Bruce though and secretly wants to kill dick everytime he sees him, but other then that he’s chill with the family.
Jason is honestly spittin, Batman may pretend that he knows what it is like, but ironically the fact that Joker loves him so much made him somewhat immune to a lot of dark shit that Joker did with other people
Bruce: Joker got to you, I know what it's like. Jason: don't pretend like you understand Also Jason: forgets how joker literally infected his own blood into batman, effectively making him even more insane.
Yeah idk why we skipping over this detail. And if we really feeling saucy and wanna include some external stuff let's not forget the batman the laughed origins.
Batman: Your not what he made you. Fun fact, if Jason Todd never met Batman, he would've become a racer driver, and set up a charity foundation in his Mother's name, trying to save people dying of drug abuse. Batman practically ruined his life.
Sad fun fact: proved to be false, a fake dream, it continued on to show he started to lose races and in order to keep the charities he started stealing cars.
@@yeet1399 really? Wow. Guess should read the entire story. Not just here on YT. Can you tell me what issue# was that? But then again, didn't he initially start in stealing cars? And it can be denied that he had a pretty Good life, and tried to be better even without Batman influence.
@@yeet1399 also, what about other Robin's, they seem to be doing well on their own, when they didn't meet Batman and become a Robin, especially so for Damian?
@@malyarimakisig194 funny enough I found this out through yt. But I can safely safe, all the other Robin's while starting off well, they all eventually went downward. Only one I can remember rn is Jason's and that Dick Grayson who was a spy turned out to have a lot of mental problems including hard-core depression.
@@yeet1399 I found mine in 'Shorts', titled 'What if Robin's never met Batman', also, what about Stephanie Brown? It was said that she build her own Team, a Founding member of Teen Titans, member is Aqualad, Blue Beetle, and Supergirl I think.
joker would rarely let Jason eat or sleep he came down at night just to tourture him he was basically a punching bag to joker and joker would dress up people as batman just to beat him up this is why redhood is one of my favorite dc characters
The most heartbreaking part in the Arkham Knight story was the flashback that the joker showed Jason Batman had a new Robin only months after his kidnap.
