Welcome to the show 🤝 7700kv in 3S, directly, now that's "ballsy" 😮 Actually, from what I saw, the Escort "seems" to go nicer than the Beetle (Chucky, RC Michi and one of the Jem's hobby crew). But maybe it's only experience (and missed videos). The only fast one I know with the Beetle is thebandit1974 with 56 mph, in brushed 🤪 I can't wait to see your runs and wish you all the best 🤝

I hope the car has ball bearings everywhere? Some of those kits still come with bushings 😅 - No matter what, sounds like a fun challenge Thanks for the vid 🩷
I replaced all the bearings with a fast Eddie set. Deshielded and degreased them and used a gun oil lube on them. Those bushings would hate there very short life at those speeds
@@rynks_rc lol - Do what you can to keep all the steering components as tight/least amount of slop possible. Do you have to use that body? Maybe at least prep a lower profile body to try/see the difference in road grip and top speed. - It’s always interesting to see comparisons like that
