in my experiences especially growing up in scotland where football is predominantly still a working class sport, footballers live in amongst regular streets, go to regular shops, have regular friends. end a the day they’re just people

When Simon actually finds another Liverpool fan elsewhere in the world: *Wait, that's illegal* So basically, Sheriff Tiraspol qualified for the group stage for the league for the first time after defeating Dinamo Zagreb 3 to 0 in the play-off round. Now because Transnistria is unrecognized, they are registered as Moldovan on the UEFA site (as MDA) and play in the Moldovan National Division (Moldova's league, where they are the top team; 19th title so far)

Interesting Vid........Never fails to me amaze me how easy it is to get into football grounds on non match days. I have stood on the pitches at Old Trafford, Ewood Park and Prenton Park by simply walking in through unlocked doors or gates.......

Awesome video. Loved hearing about the club from different aspects and seeing some behind the scenes stuff location and venue wise since I had looked into it when I saw they made the CL and couldn’t really figure out what the deal was with it and the organizations specifics and such. Maybe some more football content like visiting obscure/ not so much known up and coming teams? remember back in 2019 where we played them in europa league i think, could be the champions league qual, i support AIK Stockholm and was probably one of the worst season in a long time, we won over them and was propbably the most weird games ive seen. sheriff didnt play good at all and it was barely any sheriff fans there. 1 year ago they are in the champions league. jeesus and the inter fans wasnt many because its a nightmare to get there, tried to fly there but we couldnt, nothing worked and no planes in time so to get there was a nightmare so i had to be home watching it

As an American that knows nothing about soccer, but loves sports, I found this very interesting. When I travel, I always try to attend a local game of anything, or at least try to visit a stadium. You and Harald are the only ones that include sports, and I like it. Very interesting Simon.

@@SU_fan_44 It's Football and American Football (I'm British-Hungarian who favours the NFL above all else btw). I hate calling it Gridiron! Also, they're not even French! You got the word from WW1 soldiers who were actually in Belgium, but thought they were in France because they heard French being spoke. They're called chips in The UK because they're a chip off the potato; and crisps are slices of a potato fried to a crisp.
