I saw Gracie’s smallest ever concert in Cleveland in 2022 and her largest venue ever in Madrid. Both were amazing but the small, 200 person concert was truly life changing and encapsulated the intimacy of her music that a big venue couldn’t.

Ive been a conan gray fan since his youtuber days, and ive sadly never gotten to go to a concert, but knowing that he's finally getting the recognition he deserves is amazing, i still wish i couldve experienced one of his early concerts

its the same with sabrina carpenter - i have been a fan since singular act 1 + a casual listener since evolution and finally managed to see her on her eics tour which cost about £71 so still pretty expensive . i cant imagine how much tickets will cost for any future tours with her newfound stardom😭. seeing ryan beatty in april of this year for only £24 put things into perspective

'no sane person flies to the other side of the world to see an artist live' me sitting here after flying to the other side of the world to see an artist literally last week and literally for the same reason cause i knew it would be probably one of the only chances to see them in a small venue..i ended up sitting first row having the time of my life making it all worth it

I saw Laufey open for Alexander 23 with just a guitar and a keyboard back in 2021 at a really small venue that held just over 400 people. The tickets for them were under 30 bucks. I was at the front of the "stage" too so I saw her VERY close. Now she's immediately selling out big venues and giving an orchestral performance for them, which is honestly more fitting for her genre of music. But it was nice to experience a stripped/acoustic version of her songs live!

As someone who has been a Gracie fan since she only had minor out and who lives in Australia I got to see her for the first time in January 2024 and it felt like home I got barricade and it was like a dream, I’ve watched her grow up so much and the best thing to see is that she still has not changed she’s still such an amazing kind person with all the fame that has been through at her all at once with the eras tour and she’s still kept her kindness is just beautiful! Hope to get her next tour.

i found a rly small austrailian band that had 10k monthly listeners when i found them over a year ago and now they have 30 or 40k after opening for the jonas brothers and im so sad but their tickets are still only $15 which is a slay

i saw gracie perform her second show ever in 2021 in san francisco. people were talking with her, interacting, giving her gifts and she would wear/use them on stage. i think with the intimate nature of her songwriting it was so beautiful to experience.

Been a fan for years, but the TSOU tour is the first one I've been able to get tickets to. It's sad that I didn't get that intimate artist to audience connection at her past tours, but I'm so excited to see miss Abrams in september!!

yesss talking about discovering an artist before they blow up, i saw billie eilish in 2018 and it was one of the best concerts ever and now im finally gonna see her oct this year and im so excited!!!!

i have seen gracie 5 times. one of them was at an invite only secret event with less than 100 people. gracie is my favourite artist to see live but i gotta say seeing her in 2022 was the best experience i have had. 800 people fit in the venue and it was the perfect amount of intimacy. even tho i loved her last tour i got to say that the shows were better the closer i was to her just because you need that feeling of intimacy with her music. i was so lucky to have the vip soundcheck at some of my shows at tiwifl and at the good riddance tour and the less people she is singing for the more the songs hit. i will miss these little shows so much. ESPECIALLY, because there wont be soundcheck for the new tour

i discovered her in 2021, and although i never saw her in a small venue, i saw her open for the eras tour and god it was amazing (even though she only played 4 songs)

I saw her at Ameoba Records in Los Angeles by waiting in line for a couple of hours the week before to see her for 30 minutes the following week and it was worth it :D.

oh my god I'm sobbing. I was front row at the Glasgow show and it changed my life and from there watching her grow has been equal parts beautiful and heartbreaking. she is so special.

I’m going to a concert for the first time in my life, I’m going to see AURORA live in November and she’s been my favorite artist since 2019, it’s a dream came true! this is amazing, it made me think of when I randomly first heard bellyache or copycat by Billie on spotify and really liked it, some weeks passed by and I started listening to her whole discography (which was only an EP btw), then suddenly started seeing a lot of contents about her on social media and even on one of my schoolmate’s lockscreen as the months went by, and… well, the rest is history. but the difference here is that I live in Brazil so when she finally announced her first show here she was already considerably big (wwafawdwg was already out) and this weird thing happened: I didn’t even want to attend. it was something like “if I’m no longer different for knowing and listening to her, then I gotta be different by not being interested in this artist that everyone my age is now a fan of” lol being a teenager was a funny thing but it now makes me thing that maybe, in the back of my mind, what I really wished was this comfortable and intimate little concert… that could never happen for us in South America, where the artists only come when they are real famous (or luckily happen to attend Lollapalooza, which is really expensive here lol), and where we neither can afford to travel somewhere else like you could. it’s really interesting to see your how our experiences were completely different but yet I can still relate to that feeling of having a [no longer] secret little favorite artist! I may have even learned something here hopefully both Billie and Gracie comes to Brazil soon so I can appreciate their talent as a more mature person now… we can’t control their fame, but we can control how to feel about it :)

I started listening to Gracie Abrams in 2020, and I was so happy to see her grow. I could finally see her in concert in Barcelona in 2023, and god, it was very amazing.. Everyone was dressed up as her, it kinda had a performative aura about it. She had just been in the Eras Tour so maybe that's why it felt like all of the girls wanted to be dressed as her? Or a "fan" joke that I didn't understand, since I'm not in the fan world for Gracie (I still buy her cds and support her music when it's out! I really look forward to it, but in a chiller way).

i wish i had the opportunity to see her in a small venue, i had tickets to see her at enmore (1k capacity) in sydney but then she upraded the venue to horden (5.5k) but im not gonna complain as that meant i got to see her twice at the 2 biggest shows of her career

It’s just like twenty one pilots. They played some small shows this year infront of like 200 people for like 70 bucks which isn’t bad, but when you think about how people used to pay so little to see them is crazy. I’m going to see them on tour this year and it’s like 200 per ticket for good seats in Vegas. Obviously I’m so happy for them but it’s sad to see them move on.

Gracie came with Aaron to Barcelona to play, and here this artists are a lot smaller than in other places in the world, so she played at this kind of small venue BUT I SAW IT TO LATE AND THE TICKETS WERE GONE AND ITS SO SAD cause probably next time she comes will be a bigger place and without Aaron :(

i saw panic at the disco in 2014(?) at a ~medium sized venue and then again in 2018 at an arena and the difference was crazy. i think it had more to do with a higher budget and different songs, but the vibe was different too. also, 2600 dollars for a concert ticket? i thought $160 for twenty one pilots was bad lmfao

This is how I feel with Sabrina Carpenter, I’ve listened to her since Eyes Wide Open and always thought she was soooo underrated, now she’s about to release her 6th album and has songs thats are #1 on the charts😭 i got to see her when she started the eics tour and I’m so happy I did because no way I’m affording tickets now lmao

I don’t quite enjoy concerts as much when artists get big. It might sound harsh and a little like snobbery but a portion of new fans sort of ruin it, as they get bigger it attracts almost maniacally rabid fans who are more concerned of singing along as if they’ve got a point to prove of how big a fan they are. I went through a similar experience as this video but with Dua Lipa, I would be within touching distance at her early shows (in fact often actually touching, when she reached out to the fans), I even had talks with her management about her playing at my wedding reception and then like the next year she took off in the U.K. and then the shows got bigger, still had opportunities to meet her as I did at the start but then she got bigger again and went global and now I’m sat in arenas watching her be drowned out by the people around me in stands nowhere near the stage, you just can’t get near her now… funnily enough I saw a video of Dua playing an intimate gig for her “super fans” and I certainly don’t recognise any of them from her early days.
