He is a sweetheart of a guy. Anyone that has met him says so. Extremely kind and so good to his fans. He does act differently than he did when he was younger in interviews -- he's more hyper and excited. When he was younger, he was more relaxed . . . but the industry was soooo cruel to him, he changed and became very guarded and the light went out in his eyes. You can see it in interviews he did during the 80s and early 90s. He went to therapy and the light is back and you can tell that he feels much better now . . . that's why he sounds so excited when he talks about his shows and his albums and writing and just everything. He's not going to have the #1 album or record like he did back in the 70s . . . he knows that and accepts that and that's okay . . . he's going to appreciate what he has and feel good about it.. I say good for him. That's the right attitude. Not doing badly for a teen idol from the 70s i must say. He's actually probably the most successful one (aside from Michael Jackson who is in another class by himself), but Donny is doing good. And I think his positive attitude has a lot to do with it. So if he's excited about writing a song and feeling good about it, good for him. Way to go Donny! I hope you have a great show in the UK. Should be a lot of fun.
