Yes such amateurs, can’t believe they don’t have time in their busy acting careers to memorize random deep cut video game trivia to impress all the Nintendo nerds on RU-vid
@@Burstify yea like I respect other Chris Pratt projects but then Jurassic World is his more Hollywood dumb cliche franchise project, but at least they’re ridiculously entertaining ngl so I still enjoy everything he’s in
@@OAT86 oh yea they are, definitely the first Jurassic World is the only decent one, and yep Guardians 2 is mediocre but yet iconic, but yea nothing can beat Guardians 1
@foursidekm I've been a gamer since I was about 4 years old, and I didn't know that. Those characters aren't ubiquitous in gaming. The Pac-Man franchise hasn't really had any noteworthy success after Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man. Furthermore, players wouldn't see the ghost names during game play, only on the title screens. So, you would have to have played those games a lot to have seen those screens enough times to remember the name Clyde, especially since it is a normal name that doesn't fit with the pattern of the other names. Most people playing those games would be doing it at arcades so, to know that name, you would most likely be a person who has spent many hours at an arcade playing Pac-Man. This wouldn't be the case for the overwhelming majority of gamers who weren't alive or weren't old enough to go to arcades in the '80s. Console and PC games have taken over the market since then, so even the most hard-core gamers wouldn't be spending enough time playing the Pac-Man games. They would only do it on rare occasions when they were in the time or place to play them, and probably wouldn't go out of their way to play them because they have games at home.
@@lymandecoconut4832 I mean the ghosts are definitely icons of gaming I think. general audiences probably just call them "the ghosts" tho. I just think the fact that Clyde doesn't rhyme with the others is what makes his name memorable
I'm all up for this surge of video game movies, especially when they're good. Comic readers got their big break, time for the gamers to have their chance.
Btw. An old friend on Facebook from an old job where my now fiancé got jealous that I was friends with her, the old friend has a little boy with some sort of devastating illness… I only saw pictures of this from her post, but I can only assume that it was thru Make-a-Wish and there’s pictures of her and her son, posted in the past day or so, with Chris Pratt. And he gave the kid some signed mario movie memorabilia. He seems like a genuinely good dude. The weird part is how the text in the post of the album said “I MET CHRIS PRATT” which kinda made me laugh cuz she met him due to her son’s condition. I feel like it should have said * “WE* met Chris Pratt”. But other than that it’s just an incredible thing to see my old coworker posting pics of her and her son with Chris.
You lie like a rug. Why do you write this on every damn video of Jimmy's? It's gross and no one believes that you actually give a shit. Even though I don't know you...I believe you're a douchebag. Byyyye
1 thing I was really disappointed about the movie was they made Luigi scared of EVERYTHING including his own shadow. Um hello!!! He traveled in those worlds too, without Mario, I should know as I was the 1 that always played with him since I'm the youngest LOL. But there was also Luigis Mansion, which I just beat again last night, where he gets scared but he doesn't run like a 2 year old, I know cause a couple of times last night he got scared by 2 ghost and then 2 more show up and he gets scared again and then attacked by the 1st 2 ghost cause he's jumping from the 2nd ghost.
I’m convinced that the producers were so concerned about offending with a stereotypical Italian accent that they convinced Chris Pratt to be as boring and, ironically, least animated as possible
I think they usually play these games before the interview so he couldn't get any goop or liquid poured on him as he'd have no time to clean himself up.
I cannot watch this movie. I feel like we know Mario as like Mario and thats that, like he’s a childhood memory and I feel like if I get know Mario’s personality and I don’t like it, I won’t like the games anymore , idk 🤷🏻♀️
As Chris Pratt said, we've only scratched the surface of Mario's character as seen in the games. The movie will further dig into that and it's gonna be a spectacular ride.
