Hey Tim, definitely some mellow and emotional vibes here. Not what I usually listen to, but would probably give me a good challenge to play over and explore something different. On a side note, what's the aim of this channel compared to your Backing Tracks by Tim?
Hey man! Great to have you over here as well! Yeah sometimes it is a good challenge to try and play over something different from what you normally play over. The aim of this channel is to create some more accessible backing tracks. On my main channel I realize that some of my tracks can get kind of complicated which might be intimidating to some people. I am a guitar teacher at heart and want to create content for players at every stage of their musical journey! Anyways, thanks for stopping by man! 🤘
@@AmplifiedJamTracks Ok cool, makes sense. I'll subscribe and swing by from time to time. I've been playing guitar on and off for a while now and I'm possibly holding myself back by trying to play things that are too technical for my current level and losing motivation - eg sweep picking - mine currently sound more like I'm just doing an arpeggio so don't try to use often in a musical context. If I treated them like an arpeggio and enjoyed it, I'd probably play them more and improve speed anyway.
@@iduncanw Thanks for the subscribe man, I really appreciate it! Yeah it is sometimes hard to be patient when we have a vision in our head for what we want our playing to sound like. The best advice I think I can give is to just try and enjoy the journey. If you have good learning resources and pick up the guitar regularly to get in some practice, you will see the results you are after, it might just take a few weeks / months. Even though weeks and months sound like a long time, in the grand scheme of things they go by fast and in the end once you achieve a level you are happy with, you will be glad you put in the time! All the best my friend!
@@AmplifiedJamTracks thanks for the great backing tracks and thanks for the tips/encouragement 🙂 My consistency isn't where I'd like it to be, but got a busy work/family life. Just need to be patient.
@@iduncanw You bet man! 🙂 Yeah, I hear you there! I am in the same boat! Yeah just be patient and try to get a little bit of practice/jam time in each day, even a few minutes a day can add up over time!
