Elders you are an investment in time with those who share your space. Memories left and lessons reveled to be relived every time I remember your words, truths shared of life's lessons ring a bell in me when I am faced with decisions you once quoted I would one day see. Like the beat of a drum, a familiar song your words encoded with Love ring true in our hearts and mind to be remembered in all time. I can't believe it's been so many yesterday's ago and before I know it I too will be this hopefully a pleasant and harmonious melody, like a lullaby past down in memory. Not all get this privileged gifted time therefore you are seniors of not just experience but of time itself, giving hope for those to come. I say the seniority goes to those who continue to teach and help our world grow even physically tiered or feeling old. Although there may be moments you might feel forgotten there are those days only a prayer from an Elder can reach a heart, touch our soul and really be felt and not just heard. I play in my thoughts those words you shared with me, advise you said to keep, things to heed, to remember and not just preach but to do indeeds. You planted good seeds in my heart, to share with those in need and those who seek. I feel your strength those days I feel weak it helps me stay on my feet, I reach out to those echos in memory. Your worth just grows every year like an opening Rose that shows us the beauty of not just what we are or will be in time but how honorable it truly was & is to be in your presence, your essence. You all are a gift to this world a present sweet decadent Rose. I'm truly grateful I got to experience and see you unfold. We should all take better care of our elders there not here to stay. Try to remember there love even in this changing age. We are transforming not really changing its experience and love that is valuable and irreplaceable treasures.
