Popcorn Machine Restoration and Cleaning 

I restore and clean this gorgeous popcorn machine 🍿 Street Vendor 6 by Berchmark.
As you can see from the video, this machine really needed a clean from the oil, grease, salt and dirt accumulated in years of neglect or misuse.
I have withdrawn it as not working as it could not test at the moment due to the lack of some fixing bolts and the terrible storage conditions.
I started the complete disassembly with the biggest concern in the disassembly of the glass since they were stuck with so much dirt. Then proceed with a thorough cleaning of all the pieces with a lot of elbow grease :) degreaser, cif, window cleaner, etc ...
I built the support trolley with salvaged pieces, the sheet metal I cut from an old desk, the irons from a work table, the wheels and rims from a bicycle, the handles from two pieces of a SWM motorcycle.

Once the construction of the cart was finished I painted it with red two-component paint, while for the popcorn machine floor I bought a red epoxy paint enamel, suitable for food, the painted part is not a direct contact with the popcorn, but salt, oil and the resistance to keep warm the popcorn that is under the counter. Better not to risk your health.
Popcorn can stay inside the machine for quite some time, so safety is the top priority in these cases.
Fortunately, the assembly went smoothly, I replaced the power cable, I bought new steel bolts and nuts, with new plexiglass I rebuilt the two doors, and when turned on everything was working, even the Kettle which was the piece that worried me since I hadn't been able to try it before.
The result is fantastic, the popcorn 🍿 are delicious. I hope you enjoyed the video and the movie theater final 🎥 🎞
