This is just part of the thousand year war for the rights of Roman suzerainty. When the Pope comes to Moscow blaming the Latins for their aggression it is the big gun coming out of its holster. He will go to free the Azov fighters trapped under Azovstal Steel Works and to divide Ukraine between the Latins and Greeks. Kiev has been Latinized. Donbass and Black Sea coast is mostly Greek. By the way, we all live on Roman tax farms. Notions of national sovereignty are mostly proven absolutely specious.

@viktor colbert It's the NATO that violated the agreement that it signed with Russia multiple times by expanding to East. NATO guaranteed that it will not allow border states of Russia to join NATO. But they violated that agreement multiple times. If you say that Ukraine is a sovereign country and it can make it's own decisions. Then what about Quban missile crisis. When QUBA was getting help from Russia to provide security to their country from USA, America said it's a threat to their country which is what Russia is saying now. NATO is a military alliance and it has waged wars in gulf countries, African countries and asian countries. Even France and Germany objected the decision to allow Ukraine to join NATO. But It is USA which is deliberately trying to push the agenda.

I think they have, and have concluded that they are Gog and Magog. Anybody else wouldn't like to be associated with those names. But they don't mind, because to them, at least they get registered in the Bible as an entity. I mean, look, reading isn't going to help if your attitude is wrong. God sent us to Bible to help us to repent of our sins by humbling our hearts and being contrite and broken before our God. If Kirill uses the Bible to justify Putin's war crimes, aka "special military operations" and gets more self righteous, it's not really going to help him the tiniest bit, is it? He'll just end up becoming a modern day "Christian" equivalent of a Pharisaical high priest, which isn't a very great thing to be, salvation wise.

An impressive 54 236 thousand jobs in Guns and Amunition manufacturing in the US in 2022 already . President Biden has said,US will continue to supply arms as long as Ukraine keeps fighting. The Us dollar is now at all time highs . Does the US want the war to stop ! I know that will be the question in the next few months.

The fact that the Roman Catholic Church had its own armies, in the Middle Ages especially, does not sit well with many people. On the other hand, the Russian Orthodox Church has an incredibly long history of being on "Team Russian"-no matter who is in charge. (Okay, not the communists perhaps, but all of those Czars.) Not the kind of independence you would need during these troubled times.

The Bible says to prey for the secular authorities and to be in subjection (to an extent) to them. I'm not sure what you are getting at though but remember the Papal States was a nation state actor and its navy participated in the battle of Lepanto. Since it was also a political entity of course it had a military. I think most people aren't so rattled by this. I'm not even a catholic and I'm pretty critical of the church for the sheer amount of bishops who compromise on doctrine to appease secular elements who hate them, but nevertheless this is a big nothing burger.

Ukraine is the dividing line between Latin and Greek Roman Empires. The war for Roman suzerainty between Latins and Greeks could be called the thousand year war between the "Christian" brotherhoods. The dollar is our Latin Roman indenture. Who sent and financed communists to Russia to destroy their Orthodox Church and Caesar? Who blessed the Nazi crusade to the East? Who is a best prayer to the heartfelt Nazis trapped under the Azovstal steelworks in Mariupol? Who more relevant to acknowledge the divine right of the Russian Emperor to rule over Greek lands? It is not often that I support the Pope however in this instance I wholeheartedly do. Petrarch Kirill is a man of God, the shepherd of his flock. How can he support someone who without provocation invades another country causing death and destruction. The loss of life is utterly tragic, over 200,000 Russian soldiers dead, countless injured. An estimated 100,000 Ukrainian dead, soldiers, women and children dead. Forced conscription, hiring mercenaries, use of convicted prisoners to fight. How can Patriarch Kirill support the man that is the architect of such evil, this terrible tragedy.
