There's the esophagus "pipe" that goes to your stomach and a windpipe that goes to your lungs. So yes if it goes down the windpipe then your body will automatically want to cough it up because it knows that food doesn't belong there, nor can it fit. 😊 Thanks for the sandwich review. Helps a lot!!

To answer your question can food go down the wrong pipe? Is there two pipes in our throat? The simple answer is, Yes. in your throat you have the Esophagus (the food tube) and then you have the Trachea (Your airway). Two different sections or "pipes" as I like to call. This is not only a fun fact, but Amazing! Also I loved your review and can't believe Popeyes had one heck of a sandwich that I need to try.

Tried the bacon and havarti tonight. It was 100% the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. It was so crispy like yours with 3 strips of bacon and delicious havarti.

Looks good to me! If it goes down your ‘wind pipe” into your lungs it could be problematic. 😁

There is 2 pipes but its probably not going down the wrong pipe because the upper throat signals the brain to cough when it get a bit further than its supposed too

Wish mine was $4.99 haha. Sandwich alone was $7.49+tax but delicious none the less. Combo was $13. Filled me though. Worth it, best chicken sandwich ive ever had.
