I keep coming back to this video, over and over again. He just looks so beautiful and funny and brave and gorgeous. God, I'm addicted to Brian. It's reached that point were it hurts, but I love it.
I know that a lot of people that have commented before had said this before, and I know it's weird, but I think I'm addicted to Brian and this interview. I just can't get enough of listening to Placebo almost everyday, watching my Placebo DVDs, and watching and reading interviews of Brian. He's very interesing when he talks! Which is one of the many reasons I love him!
Love this interview. It's nice to see Brian so open-minded about his decisions and so responsible at the same time. Thanks for posting! (By the way, I'm addicted to "Placebo"...)

Its amazing how he switches accents. Like, at the first words, he speaks with an american accent, quite close to the ny one. But some words, only a few, he speaks with a british accent that i, particularly, adore. And it's incredible how he talks about something rather obscure like cocaine addiction and so on. What a brave human being!
he's perfect because he's not perfect,he addmit his mistakes and now he's trying to fix them...i want a boyfriend like him...i want Brian as my boyfriend!!!!
very sad fact that at the end they even showed him a bottle of alcohol. He used to be an addict, even though it is a funny interview you should not do that....

Brian:"the longest running adiccion that I have is porpably to nicotine, cause I´ve been smoking since I was a teenager and in the 90´ies I became adiccted to cocaine and alcohol and various other substances as well. Thankfully I´m in recovery at the moment, so I hope I´m on the other side of this particularly, very dark thing, that can happen to you, you know, which is full-blown adicction."
--Then, the interviewer shows him some items and Brian is saying if he´s adiccted or not. on coffee: Brian:"yeah, it´s an adicction, it´s a drug, the thing I know is, when you stop taking drugs,you stop drinking, you go straight on to coffee like crazy. I drink too much coffee."
"Interviewer:"are you adiccted to sex?" Brian:"No, no, no , no I´m not, I know some very good friend of mine, in this building, that I work with, next door, is adiccted to sex but he´s also in denial." Then Brian has to chose one of the adicctive things, and says:" I would chose coffee, ´cause it´s the savest for me. Everything else can be very bad for me, you know." In the End he says that he´s adiccted to Popkult.
On chocolate: Brian:" ok, it has two different substances, it has caffeine in it again and it has sugar. chocolate and chili have a tendency to release the same chemicals, the same endorphines in the brain, than sex does, so lonely people can get adiccted to chocolate quite a bit. I have to have chocolate removed from my hotel room, otherwise after a gig, I would sit there on my own and eat it all, you know, and get fat."
