Frankie worried about getting on a plane without his children and possibly dying when he also pisses in bottles while operating a motor vehicle multiple times a week is astonishing
Mare-io is definitely one that irks me, not just from Frankie, but Joe as well. I don't care if it's an accent thing, it's Mah-rio. He says his name, that's his name, get it right.
i’m 19 and I remember as a kid how my MOTHER would show me the “people of walmart” videos, honestly joe was such a great part of my childhood memories and i will never be mad about that
This is one of the best episodes in a while! ETA: as a huge Disney plan, PLEASE go drink around the world at Epcot when you guys hit 20k!! Would be hilarious!
Through the mayo and coconut segment my brain kept going back to one of the spelling bee episodes and Frankie said - You put it in the blendure!! If you know you know.
A tomato/mayo sandwich IS definitely a thing! I always thought it was a Midwest thing, but my husbands from the south and he grew up with them too. We dress it up with mayo and Italian seasonings sometimes a slice of cheese but the base of it is just tomato and mayo!
The second Frankie said something about the tomato & mayo sandwich, I thought of Harriet the Spy. So when he shouted out the movie, I just about lost my mind. Suchhhhh a wonderful throwback movie and the scene of her making that sandwich and explaining her reasoning for making it the way she does will forever be burned into my memory 😂😂😍😍
i always look forward to watching a new episode of the basement yard each week, i re-listen to old episodes everyday at work (: i can’t afford a patreon subscription right now but once i can i’m definitely gonna sign up. thank you guys for bringing so much laughter ❤
I rewatch this episode all the damn time strictly for the pronunciation argument. And still the best part of it is Joe calling Frankie a cartoon character and Frank immediately flares up and looks like a cartoon character. And then after legit yelling and arguing they instantly go back to talking normally😂 brothers at their core. Chosen family for the win god damn
I think Frank is secretly a southerner deep down if he’s eating tomato sandwiches. I’ve never heard of anyone eating them outside of tennessee and the surrounding states. Couple big slices of tomato fresh from the garden, some Mayo, the cheapest white bread available, beautiful, absolutely beautiful. 👌
the sandwich frankie is talking about is a southern summer staple. people who have gardens in the south plant tomatoes and the first tomato of the summer you make a tomato sandwich with mayonnaise on it. 😂
Frankie: MAYANASE Joe: No one sounds like that. Me an Australian dying laughing as that is the most Australian accent he has ever done and spot on with the pronunciation 😂
I discovered you guys like a week ago and have been binging ever since 🤣. And I stand with Frankie. A tomato sandwich was a staple in my poor household and it evolved into a delicious snack now and again
Toasted, these sandwiches aren’t bad. No toaster equals a pile of mush. Also sugar sandwiches were a thing in our poor as hell childhood. This was a treat for us. Exactly what you think it is, raw sugar, 2 pieces of bread, still can’t believe we all loved it.
@@TwinGunz never heard of that! I used to have the tomato sandwiches on white bread too but I’d season the tomato with salt and lemon juice. They are delicious
My brother used to use me as practice with a paintball gun. I would run back and forth against the backyard fence and him and his friends would shoot paintballs at me out my mom's window. 😂 I was super young, like 9 or 10. Lol
My favorite SANDWICHES that are 100% sandwiches. -tomato, Muenster cheese, salt and pepper on toasted wheat bread -avocado, mozzarella cheese, mayo and pesto mixed on ciabatta bread -roasted zucchini, mozzarella cheese, balsamic vinegrette glaze on a baguette -jalapeño peppers, Swiss cheese, and honey mustard on toasted wheat bread -banana peppers, red onion, lettuce and thousand island dressing on wheat bread. -grilled cheese with bbq sauce on it.
