You know when you see something so exceptional that no words come to mind? All you can do is just snicker, smile and laugh...........

I have been dancing since 1973 when they were doing "The Bump". Been in Discos all my life. And you-Poppin John-are without a doubt The Greatest Of All Time! And no one else is even close!!!

As a white 43 year old male who had great days dancing in the bars whilst I was young, I try and imitate your moves when I’m alone working in my garage. Wife has caught me a couple of times Oh how she laughs 😂

As a teen (a few 100 years ago) this was my specialty although I did some break dance moves as well, and I won two national dance championships in Europe and the Middle East. In fact I was offered to compete in the World Dance Championship at the time but visa issues (long story) didn’t allow for it. We did similar moves to these at the time and I had a few unique ones myself similar to the newer slow-motion styles of today- I had no idea that they would become mainstream back then as some moves were uniquely mine and no others were doing them at the time. Glad to see development of these moves. Respect to your routine man. I enjoyed it. Great shirt by the way. My only advice to make the routine even better is to use more ground to and fro, back and forth.

I think if I had to define "Poppin" or come up with a standard, it would be 97% animated movements. You just can't do whatever, and say you're "Poppin". No you're not. Everytime I see a new vid, you just keep reinventing your form, polishing and flawlessly executing it, John! I loved how you pushed your glasses back up on your nose when they looked like they were sliding down and seamlessly combined it in your choreography 1:50 (not sure if that was in the original choreography or not)!
