I immediately wonder... is the purple hand jump going to be affected by the framerate? Imagine trying to use it on 5 FPS and glitching through the roof.
You mention Catnap being tall and lanky like Huggy, but you can see that Catnap is on four legs instead of two. So what I imagine is a stubby torso for the kitty and extremely long legs, kinda like a reverse Weiner Dog.

He is said to be able to change 3 times his initial size) during the very beginning as he was being reflected from the television vaguely ! So , it’s possible that the form we see of him clearly in the trailer could just be one of the smaller forms considering the phrasing of not having seen him “fully” yet
Has anyone noticed that they changed poppy’s hair colour 3 times in three chapters in chapter one poppy’s hair is brownish ginger in chapter two she’s got full red hair and in chapter three she gone back to brownish ginger like did she find some leftover hair dye in the train😂
I think that one scene in the trailer has some weird lighting, as Kissy looks kind of purplish as opposed to her earlier bright pink, and the green hand is made to look more yellowy.
We've got to factor in lightning. In the first chapter we only saw her for a few seconds, and in chapter 3's trailer we also only saw her for a few seconds. It's very possible that those 2 shots happened to have weird lighting. We saw Poppy a lot more in chapter 2.
I do not mean for this to come off as negative, just a little fun exaggeration :) GTlive is usually just Matpat talking to the person behind the camera for 20 minutes, then watching whatever for 2 seconds before bringing up a tangent with the person behind the camera, watching a couple more seconds before relating something from the video to something from his life, watching a couple more seconds before repeating the whole process (Haven't watched their reaction to this trailer though)
This wasn't the case this time fortunately, he let the chapter 3 trailer play without pauses after the first 20-30 seconds on his first watch. And also gave genuine meaningful thoughts on what's happening on the screen. Also he didn't talk to ash much in this video.
Im pretty sure ‘dollar store spring trap’ refers to Dogday’s bigger form (the one tied down to the wall) during the “and this is what he does to heretics” speech aka the one who’s chasing through that slide/tube in the daycare looking area ?
'Dollar store Springtrap' probably refers to that yellowish smiling rabbit in the thumbnail. I think it's in the mass of other stuff with all the others.
When this game first released it felt like it wasn't really trying. But seeing that they are actually trying with chapter 3 and took a ton of feedback is honestly really surprising. I hope the game itself lives up to what its building up. Im rooting for the developers now.

I also think they might not have anticipated how Poppy Playtime absolutely exploded in fame. I do agree tho, its so nice to see them adding *more* blood and gore untile games like FNAF SB that are making their games less gritty
Matpat goes through videos and analyses them almost frame by frame pretty much. And talks about each one for like a good minute. And about 3-5 times throughout the video he'll just randomly talk about something unrelated to whatever their talking about or just ramble on 😂
In the video he says that totk took one year of polish, but it isn't fair to compare an open world sandbox with physics to a linear game with limited mechanics. I still would agree that three weeks is not enough to polish, but the comparison itself isn't quite fair.
Hes not tall and lanky to capture the original concept of huggy. Its clear and obvious that tall and lanky is their thing. It is the BIGGER bodies initiative after all

He doesn’t miss the obvious, he moreso discards the obvious And sometimes he actually does miss the obvious too. I guess that’s what you get when you give yourself a week to master the entire lore of mostly a completely new franchise every week where most time goes into editing and writing instead. If only there were a way to get more time
seeing the "yo matpat was right and prototype is just a combo of everyone" was really telling that the person never watched a playthrough of chapter 2 and just watched matpats video on it its very obvious from chapter 2 that this prototype is stealing pieces of characters to build itself, i think even mommy mentions it offhandedly??
If MatPat doesn’t make an abhorrently wrong theory debunked directly in-game like the knight being the king in Hollow Knight, then he makes overwhelmingly obvious claims that someone in the game directly confirmed in a line of dialogue Most of the time it’s the first one though

I have no idea what made him think poppy looked happy in the part with kissy. I guess he thoughts that bc he had it paused when going through the trailer again.
I would just like to point out that matpat HAS done WAY MORE with WAY LESS, I would like to point at his first generation loss theory he made a 20 something minute video with an 18 SECOND teaser. 👏👏 also great vid spiff
4:25 lots of games (especially like poppy playtime or ruin) give you tools that are extremely limited for gameplay. When you look at games like hollow knight and other Metroidvanias or tears of the kingdom and you see how much you can do with abilities outside of the specifically built use cases, it personally makes me feel disappointed since you really could make some awesome mechanics with poppy playtime’s concepts
