I never owned any Integrity Toys fashion dolls.......til I got my first one which arrived during the last week of Dec. 2023. I am so thrilled with Kyori that I've got 4 Poppy Parkers, a Body of Work Isha, a Deepest Desire Della Roux, and hopefully a Prosperity Complexity doll coming. It will take 3 months on some of them due to lay-aways. I love these dolls!

Thanks for writing in again! Agreed - on the whole. I think it's great to gain the many posing possibilities that articulation offers - especially for doll photography. Where I tend not to agree is in the case of (eg) Barbie Fashion Model Dolls (aka Silkstones). The original unarticulated dolls were a thing of beauty - such lovely lines and contours to their limbs. Some of my other favorite dolls are resolutely without articulation, eg Milou the Mannequin, vintage fashion dolls, and Lady Luminous. But on the whole it is great to have dolls with articulation when it is done well.

Such a great question! Sadly no, they are all fashion-model-skinny. They really should consider doing this, especially as IT was one of the first companies to make their dolls racially diverse. They seem to have been left behind the curve (see what I did there?) in creating a range of body types. I can understand why, however, as a relatively small company IT does not have the deep pockets of Mattel - so I imagine it's more cost-effective for them to stick to a smaller range of doll bodies and not to have to tailor clothes to fit curvier bodies. I know that some collectors have had success with re-bodying IT heads onto Mattel bodies, but it's still going to be difficult to find the same quality of outfits as IT to fit them. Maybe someone at IT will read this! incidentally, IT did create an older doll, Plum Powers, a pretty idealized version of old age it should be said! But she still had the regular thin bodytype.
