@@HuffyPuphe meant in 0:59, catnap was looking for dogday, u can tell its him because that was before he lost his legs. And also, u can clearly see DogDay have no GrabPack.
I love and HATE the fact that Catnap sounds like he's both meowing and projecting a child's screams/cries at the same time. It is HORRIFYING. Great job on this trailer! This is gonna be a terrifying chapter!
if you focus, you’ll see that catnap’s “voice” isn’t children crying mixed with meowing, it’s actually a deep purring, like that of a big cat. the child might just be a callback to the other trailer where you can hear a child crying
I'm 11 years old and I really enjoyed Chapter 3!! Thank you very much to the developers for such a beautiful universe!! I'm really looking forward to Chapter 4! :)
Honestly love that they’re getting a lot darker with this chapter, also the amount of detail and effort is incredible! Glad the devs took their time with this one and I hope they continue to put their all into the series
Everybody talks about how “OOOH HUGGY IS BACK” But honestly I want to take a moment and talk about the design of catnap. The idea of a 4 legged plushie that stands I’m guessing around 9 feet tall, is one of the most scary designs I think they’ve pulled off. Especially if (I’m really hoping) he can get taller than huggy. The idea of the first two chapters is kinda Huggy is really scary because he’s really tall and his limbs can form into this stance that allows him to crawl into vents. Mommy, is very large but still level to the player, the way they make her so scary is how they show her looming over you or streching to block off paths. But catnap is a mixture of the two. He can stretch into any height but I’m guessing usually stays in this looming, 4 legged pose. Not only that the idea that you know he’s here being this red mist is very ominous. Over all this game has evolved from a cash grab to a horror movie-esc game. And I love it. I’d joined the fnaf community during fnaf 4, but I’ve been with this one since the start of it, so I have more of a connection with it. Ok I’m back and I wasn’t expecting this comment to get anything. I just wanted to correct some things, I said that catnap could stretch to any height but in reality that looming stance he pulls off is his maximum height, he can still contort into this smaller form, which actually now that I’m thinking about it is way more frightening than him growing to any height. And also, what I meant about the huggy is back thing is that every RU-vidr ever glossed over catnap and screamed at the 2 second clip of huggy crawling around.
That blue demon is DEAD. You can clearly see that This one is fake. View of monster and the surrounding area looks like it's a bad dream (and I can already tell it's a bad dream). And in reality he's at the bottom of Hell beneath the pipes which broke all his organs.
CatNap's demented childlike screams from 1:38 to 1:50 gave me horrible chills. It feels like each chapter, this game is slowly going to get more and more twisted and warped until it becomes straight living hell.
The way the childrens screams/crying is used as a twisted meow is so simple yet so effective it hits that uncanny valley/ twisted trap perfectly brill work to the entire team!
The first two games just looked like mascot horror. This one genuinely looks creepy and spooky. I’m excited to see how this one turns out. Edit: While the game does focus a bit more on the horror aspect of it, it’s still blatantly a mascot based game (also is still just a copy of Bendy and the Ink Machine)
I’m just so happy that one of MatPat’s final theories is going to be about this chapter. This game deserves to send MatPat off, honestly. Clap and a half!
1:38 My mother says "I don't like cats because sometimes they sound like children". Now I understand that. This sounds as much like a child crying as a cat whining.
Your mom is valid for that, cats actually meow at the same frequency as babies as a result of domestication causing them to use tactics to get our attention.
chapter 3 this time mob entertainment did very well, i played it and it was very difficult, it also left me with many thoughts and obsessions in my head, i love poppy playtime
@@ImChan5510 yeah that def make sense. but I think something else might be going on here. at 1:32 you see the person (specifically a kid if this theory is correct) making their way with the bodycam in the vhs trip down and in the next shot we heard the terrified kid being scared as catnap approaches in the same vhs that we see earlier. So I think the scared noises as catnap approaches is the kid who tripped down trying to escape catnap on the hour of joy.
The fact that the Poppy Playtime movie isn’t out yet, and already this trailer looks like something out of a cinematic movie trailer makes the hype more exciting.
Compared to the scary moments in Chapters 1 and 2, Chapter 3 feels like it’s going to combine everything together like the previous chapters had never done before. From the atmosphere, graphics, music, and especially the designs of the monsters like Catnap and Huggy Wuggy. Chapter 3 is definitely not messing around to keep us excited especially with discovering more surprising secrets not revealed yet.
Chapters 1 and 2 definitely felt more suspenseful, with the creepy atmosphere broken up by some short horror segments. Chapter 3 seems like it’s going to be primarily horror-based, with more focus on the creepy atmosphere and the feeling of CatNap stalking us. The setting of being in an abandoned orphanage will really play into this horror aspect. It’s no longer walking around the factory with pipes and machines. It was a place designed for the children. Innocent on the surface, but with a sinister motive behind it. And that’s going to make everything so much scarier.
And most importantly i think they will have better sound design (based on this amazing trailer with the purring and child crying and filtered noices it sounds incrediblr) which i think is one of the most important thing in horror games
Remember everyone when Mob said that they were working hard and having us be patient they were 100% serious about it because this whole trailer was absolutely epic. Chapter 3 looks like it’s going to be absolutely more realistic compared to the other chapters and I am really excited for everything especially with finally revealing Catnaps appearance and Huggy Wuggy striking back for real this time.
Its not the fact that Catnap doesn’t appear much, but it’s how he had stalked us the entire chapter which makes him creepier than your average antagonist
You still feel the safety of his absence knowing he won't appear. The worst was when the power for playcare shut down, and nothing happened. No footsteps in the distance, no eyes on a far building staring down at you and nothing moving. I was waiting for something to appear in the main area. It was perfectly set up to be a hunting ground for him to stalk you on your way. I was disappointed as that was the biggest sign that he would never appear until everything is done and you're at the end. Didn't help he was stalking the area in the Hour Of Joy tape among the corpses.
@@magnusm4couldn't agree more. There we're só many missed opportunities for catnap to appear in the game, you could even compare him to huggy wuggy since he stalks you too. But the differences between catnap and huggy wuggy is that huggy appeares every idk, 4 or 5 minutes in the game? Catnap appears between 1-2 hours. And he also lacks a Chase, which honestly isn't a problem for me, since It makes him more unique. But still.
@@KattyKitten69 catnap is a cat, it’s suppose to watch you from the sidelines, and you might’ve missed some catnap moments cause he appeared ALOT, especially in the first half in the home sweet home segment. You also see him in the counselors office and stuff. And so what if there wasn’t an actual chase scene? It’s a change of pace from the last two chapters.
I believe the final battle isn't appreciated much because it's only in the ARG that revealed Catnap/Theo be terrified of the green hand. His end was poetic. But I agree, plenty of missed opportunities for a chase for a cat on crack. And his sounds here (with the wailing child) is more terrifying than the actual, he sounded like a grown man whispering.
Those (almost) 2 years of wait were DEFINITELY worth it! The Indie Horror franchise will change FOREVER. Edit: Wow, guys. I didn't knew I would get that many likes, thank you. 😊
Honestly the fact that the graphics and atmosphere have gotten much more darker and realistic, makes it feel like we are exploring a completely different game. Poppy truly has made it far and remembering when it first came out and makes this trailer feel like the beginning of a tribute.
That’s Unreal Engine 5 for you. Wonder if they’re using any form of raytracing for chapter 3. RT lighting and RT shadows in this chapter would benefit it a lot, especially in making those dark corners where something could be lurking even darker 👀
This is so amazing!!! Ive seen all chapter playthroughs on RU-vid I hope chapter 2 and 3 comes out on console soon. And I hope that car bee merch comes to your store that character is so cute!!!
Something that makes CatNap so scary, is how ‘unstable’ he is. In the last part of the video, when he takes the step, his entire body shakes, which means his legs are very unstable.
I agree, also I think the child at 0:14 is Timothy, the one who died because he followed the prototype and electrocuted himself by mistake. But that's just a theory. A GAME THEORY-
the company may have done some questionable things, but the actual game designers clearly care about this game. And they did an AMAZING job on it, props to all them.
After a rough start, Poppy Playtime truly became the best modern mascot horror, being actually scared even compared to the titan that is fnaf(mostly Security Breach and Ruin) and surpassing by a mile all of the knockoffs we see pop out
It made me scream so loud my brother had came in my room. He’s like what’s going on and then he looks at my computer screen and then he’s like oh OK now I see what your screaming and he asked me. Hey, can I play with you and then I said yes, but then he was screaming like a girl for two hours, because it took us two hours to beat because he kept on dying.😂
@BangerContent Nobody cares buzz-kill. this ain't your area to promote your mid content. The only thing that's gonna be banging is the heads of whoever even looked at your channel as they hope the subsequent brain damage will remove the knowledge that your channel exists from their memory. STFU and let people enjoy themselves

Everything about this is just perfect, from start to finish. The real life pictures of the kids and the document likely revealing what Theodore looks like, the VHS tapes, CatNap’s design, the new hands, the map layout, the voice acting, it’s just stellar. I’m so freaking excited 🥳🥳🥳
To be honest, I think the prototype should be all of the characters that the prototype kills made up together like cat nap and Mommy long legs mix together.
I’m loving how the deeper our character descends into this compound the more warped, terrifying and downright chill inducing our surroundings and foes get
Catnap is good , but the new huggy is goofy af , I get this is a mascot horror game , but come on , they are soo close to being a great game , one of the great ones of its genre , but they cannot for the life of them make that blue blob scary. They got really close in ch1 with that chase secuence , the ambience was perfect , the monster design was amazing (simple yet effective , and the way it moved was sublime) and the music and sound design was chill inducing. They can make a great horror game , but they just won't take that step.
@@whenyounutinhermouthandshe fnaf is mid as well , cheap jumpscares , decent designs , convoluted story but fun gameplay loop and good ambiance. Fnaf is , IMO , worse than this , thats why It hurts me so much see Mob waste the potential this game has
I think the scary Huggy thing is a hallucination, our vision goes all weird when the red gas is around, so I think we will be hallucinating which makes this 10x better, I'm super exited for this to come out!
Es kann aber auch sein, dass er sich wegen dem Nebel so verändert hat. Seine Augen erinnern mich an die Plüschtier 'Freunde' von der Katze, die sich ja verändert haben als sie das Gas der Katze eingeatmet haben.
Honestly, Catnap would've been something else other than a cat. Because in the first teaser trailer we got to see a purple monster's face a little bit while it is jump scaring, but some of us couldn't guess what it is. So yeah, Catnap would have been something else.
GOD the catnap noises!! Babies crying always makes me feel sad for the child, but to take that and twist it into something genuinely inhuman? It sends chills up my spine and creates a pit in my stomach. EXCELLENT sound design.
What you talking about? sure chapter 3 looks like a lot more plot & lore oriented edition, but poppy always had plenty of interesting plot and lore given to us in chapter 2 and from project playtime.
@@cluster4583 what? 🤔 I just said that Poppy Playtime 3 is better and more interesting than when It first came out. I DIDN'T SAY that part 2 is worse than part 3. But it's worth admitting that with each part it gets better and better
@@bruhcatstev4569 I know, was just implying by saying that the plot story & lore was already special to me, cause of how unique it is on its approach in the mascot horror genre. Also I didn't meant the second was better by any means and i mean it's pretty much given chapter 3 will be better, I never doubted that, knowing how much more ambitious it is and just looking at this.
I will say, the audio design is amazing! Those growls and screams made my skin crawl, and the use of the overwhelming feeling of the choir was perfectly executed. Great job! 👍
Mob games have just built a kind of nostalgia with their games...The rendering, every frame, movement is sooo perfect that it makes the most scary, fun, and interesting game to play..
The fact that we wen’t from thinking Daisy would be the main antagonist to Bron, and then to Catnap brings back so many memories, but this creates more. Can’t wait to play it! Also, that hallucination huggy is the most terrifying thing I’ve seen since 15 days ago
@@rickycook9522 How do you know? Ollie has never screamed on the phone. Ollie has a kid's voice, but that doesn't mean that any kid that screams is Ollie.
This official game trailer is very good, I watch it and feel like this is a movie trailer, not a game anymore. The graphics too, oh my god, it's brutally beautiful, I'm really shocked when I finished watching this trailer, it's so beautiful that I don't know what words to use to describe it. I see that MOB is having a lot of progress, try your best, don't be discouraged, your game is in the top 1 game I like, don't let me let Poppy Playtime fall to the top. COME ON I KNOW YOUR GAME AND YOUR COMPANY IS THE BEST IN MY EYES🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
This chapter is shaping up to be really good it seems, Catnap is definitely a step up from the other two when it comes to actually looking scary in my opinion, hopefully chapter 3 will be worth the wait
