Miss Delight had my favorite chase in this game, it's like no other chase scene in the series. The idea of having to solve a puzzle WHILE running away from Miss Delight was so creative, and I like how they balanced that out by making her freeze when looked at
Is not that creative though, before anyone knew about Miss Delight I thought about making a part In my videogames where you had to Solve a puzzle while being chased😂😂😂😂😂😂
Well it was quite annoying, i mean almost the whole game has the same puzzles, the home sweet home level disappointed me, the only scary moment was the nightmare huggy chase then you needed to solve a very long puzzle to get out of there, I was really expecting another chase in there or something like hide and seek to avoid catnap since he was wandering there
But yeah it’s such a good chase but it would be cool if they didn’t overused the same puzzles and making them so freaking long like the home sweet home one as I said it before in the other reply
Hoooo, Yes! I won't forget this Ost either, especially because of how frenetic it feels even when the mechanics consist of not stopping looking at your Hunter, to the point that you really feel like a complete prisoner inside the school while you look for a way to escape from the teacher.
I fucking love how this song feels like a combination of normal horror music, school sounds, and an orchestral drum beat that's reminiscent of a jungle action movie, which reflects Delight's crazed and primal state we see her in during the chase. She cannibalized her own sisters just to stay alive, so that concept alone feels like the topic of some tribal stereotypes.
*DID YOU KNOW?* In the pre-release trailer, Miss Delight would only move when the lights were off and freeze when the lights flickered back on. Gladly they didn't stick with this mechanic in the final game. Though some RU-vidrs received a build with this old mechanic intact...

I personally find Miss Delight scarier than Cat Nap. Her theme is so complex and wild, how you have to always keep your guard up and look behind you to make her stop moving. Another reason why i like her is because some of the mechanics she shares are from my favourite game Little Nightmares. 1. She's a teacher, like The Teacher with a long neck at the school. 2. Her theme sounds kinda like those of The Bullies in the school again. 3. She moves in the dark like The Patients from chapter 3.
well if you check the lore, hes the cause of the miss delights chaos, dogday lossing half body and left him in a place where he could get possesed at any moment, catnap itself didnt look 100/100 like a threat but hes the cause of the two chase scenes of the game LMAO@@bt7777
Imagine a dlc with remixed chases and instead of just Miss Delight,you're faced up against ALL of the teachers after they've been literally cannibalized by each other as barely functional corpses
Well, you are not wrong. But in the early version, Delight moves when the lights are out. This has been patched , Delight now moves whenever you are not looking at her since the other version was hard. Hope this information helps.

Honestly, keeping it a little tame, was a good call, it doesn't overwhelm you with something like No More Hugs, I like how they made this chase scary, but also managable so that not so many players just quit.
A perfect substitute chase just to spice up the pattern that the chapters take. Now the big monster chase is gone, and you are being chased by a side character!

That’s because miss delight in patch note moves when lights out. But now they patched it, so miss delight move when not see and does not move when looking at her. It’s like weeping angle mechanic
