(Edit:Cringe warning to some as I like to see animals have having same emotions as humans and I over evaluate everything. Also sorry if it doesn’t make sense, I didn’t write it in order cuz it just kept coming to my mind randomly 😂) We had one like that But we think she just used that area as her safe place Once I showed her the perch inside the same room (we had a seperate room for the lay boxes) she stopped sitting in the lay boxes She never used to care if she had an egg or not She would get angry if she saw us, and would “buck buck buck” walking around all poofy after we kicked her out Now that’s stopped so I think that was more of a safe place for her since the rest of the hens hated her, On that perch in the same room lives 2 small bantams and 1 rooster (he’s really sweet) so I think now that she has friends she thinks she’s safe to leave
crazy story. i have 10 hens and 2 roos i let out and free range daily on my 80 acre property its a small farm they all stay in eyesight of their coop though anyway i had a frizzle chicken exact twin to this just show up and integrate with my flock. it was weird i went out to feed one morning and they were all together and got along like long lost pals. anyways she must of been homeless and heard my roos crowing or something. anyways obviously i just kept her shes great. she came from 3 miles away at the very least its a mile down my long driveway alone
I wonder if that sound is them saying please no basically? Begging you not to. I will find out God willing. I want ex battery hens and a rooster so they can become mommas. 🐣 John 15:5 King James Version 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. Amen
