They are insanely annoying, very max power and sound truly terrible. Who the hell thinks that sounds good? I laughed hard at Misha cringing at the noises. How to make a car sound totally stupid in one remap. Youngsters used to have loud exhausts and music, now the max power brigade have cars that make ridiculous farting noises non-stop.
Yeah its the most stupid thing a tuner can do. But i do recall some respected tuners say they will not do a popcorn tune because it will destroy its reputation. and the turbo, and the sport cat will damage overtime.

pop and bang maps are so childish. Also that Ibiza definitely needs a mechanical diff, it's all over the place. It's funny how a Corsa VXR from 2014 comes standard with a drexler mechanical diff
Alot of cars just have a open diff, same for me in my fiesta but after 6months of having ghe giesta i put a quaife lsd in combined with a stage 3 clutch ifs a night an day difference

Not just the heel-toe, but also the way he modulates the throttle to get the car to turn in better. The rgb-remote (for i'm guessing the interior lights?), went past quite a few times 😂
It was a daily car to fair, and even I'd agree the bangs were too much, but as it was the fastest car on dragy for 100-200 with an IS20, we did not want to change the tune
Probably the car needs some torsen or quaife stuff for put most of the power to the ground at the corners exit. And that's all. The preparation is good enough and the car pulls like a beast. Good corner speed too. @@HarryG98
@@flurpoid mate it was a daily car, you don't need one on UK roads day to day. Definitely need one if you're going to be tracking it though as evident in the video

bro went ahead & got not only oil but also: -new exhaust -new turbo -new tyres/brakes And possibly a new transmission in nog too long. It takes a whole lot, but you gotta love the flames ❤😊
As someone from the UK these pops and bangs are so ingrained in my mind from all of the local 3am cupra and polo boy racers I just tuned them out for this lap
I have a Kona N, stock it would pop every time I let off the throttle above 2500 RPM. In every gear. I found it quite obnoxious. I got a stage 2 tune from N75 and had him change the pops and bangs. I get pops on downshifts, and when I let off the throttle in 5th and 6th gear. So much better now. I really dig these Cupras but I notice almost every model has a very lively exhaust.
Had to turn it off after a couple of minutes as the pops and bangs were annoying. I don't know why people think they are cool cos the sound awful and actually not good for the car.
About understeery balance: i feel like ps5's are less grippy than ps4's. I dont actually have any data, but having driven both the older tyres really do feel more grippy (ps5's also last longer and have a higher tw rating).
I drive a mk7 Fiesta ST and also think the ps4 grip better. My PS5 are now almost done, there is not a big difference in life time imo. I do drive sportive mostly on B-roads and at traffic lights. Only thing is that i only drive on the road, so the tyre's don't get proper abuse like on track days.
@@kevinghijs7330 Interestingly we drove these tires on the same car! In my case, the ps5's definantly wore better (about 15-20% slower wear for me). I do have another car thats a dedicated track toy, so I don't always send the little fiesta as hard as you might do through the B-roads. Interesting hearing from someone else with the same car/tire combo! Ps4's are probably more grippy then, ps5's probably wear better with slow driving but both probably wear similarly when they get a bit hot.
i had some pops and bangs in my city car but that when the back box de attached, without a silencer basically straight pipe the odd pop as you lift off was fun and i sure driven it harder till i found a garage what was not a rip off for new back box it made a entertaining noise for 5 hours driving before got it fixed at a fare price so these pop bag maps just reminds me broken car, my car when exhaust was separated from back box yes loud you could hear it a mile away my mate said i heard you in her house when 3-4 roads away but you could hear all engine sounds so was fun for a short time but knew longer i drive it like that sooner cops going to pull me over, sounded like old rally car from 80's it was sure louder the noise than this car in vid but pops / burble was so much more quite it was just right level and was not annoying just a little in background, good fun while it lasted but funny thing i was passing some cyclists really wide and it finally went at that moment, was a car only planning to keep 6 months to year so at time was hoping it last out as it showing sign back box was on last legs, as that was not a safety thing just extra noise i held out on it everything else was serviced and changed disks and pads and tires the safety stuff, so lot pops and bangs to remind me of a broken car
All that popcorn makes it heavy on fuel. I know it’s a high horsepower car being driven spiritedly, but a half a tank of fuel for 20km must be contributed to by that popcorn tune.
shit hanging from mirrors, stuff from under seats, brake fluid never fresh nor bled , radiators that need fluid.... Come on People! You want to go on a track at speed you bring a car ready to for church and soccer league. Prep your car damn it. or like dude used tires that dont match.
I did not think about the stuff from the mirror in all honesty, same with the door pockets as they've never come out before but then again it's never been driven that hard A foresight on my part I'll admit, the car was ready for track however with fresh brakes and tyres, braided lines and the brake fluid was so pretty new
@@THESHADOW97139 Not really, it got to 120c and stayed there for the rest of the lap. Even if it went up to 130c, it's not really an issue. Just more frequent oil changes.

@@HarryG98 aye only live up the road I had no idea it was 300+ hp 😂 and I did want a mk7 fiesta st but had an amazing deal on a mk8 st so thought I would go for it and don’t regret it one bit. It’s only around 260hp but so fun to rag about 😂
Why are there so many cracking and squeaking noises (beside the popping ones from the exhaust)? Is this because of the coilovers suspension? Otherwise very fun to watch! *Another great fun, entry level car for everyone without having to be rich!* It would have been very interesting, how much he has spend on the car and the parts ... but I guess I could not translate those UK prices to German prices or could I?
It's weird though, so 1k-3k spins the tires in 2nd, then 4k it seems to mix or timing is weird to properly save fuel at 70 to be honest but it's sluggish. Then all of a sudden you hit 5k then it spins and redlines. My ibiza is definitely better than the polo's I've driven and to some extent the golf cause it is smaller and the character is wonderful.
Do builders in Europe understand tire clearance? This must be the 100th car he's driven that the tires scraps the fenders here.... could do without the pops and bangs as well. It the new "Honda with a fart can" for this generation.
I'm pretty sure this car got his ECU modded. Not speaking of the fact that I cant heel and toe because of the weird pedal alignments, the ECU in my Leon is like a drive by wire from last input. Can't heel and toe therefor.
@@i1p2p3o4c5a6m7p9o9 Sure, but up until 200 hp max, i dont want to endanger my life because of some stupid lift off oversteer mistake, now that i think about it, 70-100 hp in a small car is more than enough for first 100 laps to learn the track and techniques. Misha did a lap in a 140hp swift and i DONT want that kind of speed for sure. And i agree with you, the more you do anything, the better you get and want to upgrade or just feel, but id rather learn as safe as possible than ask for a 300hp car and hurt someone.
idk why people are hating on the guy for having a pops n bang tune. Sure its childish to most people, but its not your car, its his. Let the man do whatever he wants with his car 💀. Stop spreading negativity.
