I'm glad they are addressing mental health amongst Black men. There are Black men and Black boys suffering in silence from untreated/undiagnosed mental illnesses due to the stigma regarding mental illness in the Black community.

The Chi is a great show. I saw Luke James once shopping for food at a grocery store. He is so sweet and humble. He appreciates his fans and will stop and talk to you , if he has time. He is a very sweet and down to earth brother.

The CHI happens to be my favorite show. I love everyone that plays in this awesome series. This is real life. Hats off to all the producers.🙌🏾🙌🏾 I am an older person, and this here series is abt the struggles that we still face in life.

I tried to like this series but it was too ghetto and embarrassing to the black community. I am tired of seeing series or movies always portraying blacks as drug dealers, violence, and gangstas.

Chicago is an urban city and if that is all you got from it then clearly you have an unrealistic view of reality. I did not only get that from the show. If those are the only characters you saw because it is probably the ones you decided to focus on IMO.

As of now, it is bingeworthy so you can see the growth of characters as well as the writers. Definitely struggled myself, to get thru the first few seasons BUT it was created to somewhat show the world what Chicago is outside of the media...
