This was the best explanation but I have a question....if por can be though the park and along the river, how do I know if someone is walking "through" the park or "along" the park?

Context from the rest of the sentence. Language isn't always as exact as we want...especially when going from one to another.

Cuber the Drift, you just made me smile. I use MiniCooper and Shakira as examples in all of my classes. They think I am joking, but Mini's are really awesome! I finally had to show them my favorite one "2015 Mini Roadster convertible" Some people hate, but I love it. Thanks for watching!
