i got veneers 10 ON TOP AND 10 ON BOTTOM $37,000 when i was 23 what i didnt know is that you have to replace them 15 -20 years mine started falling out in my 40's i now have no teeth on top and some on bottom im 50 it really has brought me down i work the night shift for 8 years now i wear a mask every day i cant eat alot of things. i wish i could make myself some dentures it would be life changing.....to everyone else never get veneers worst mistake i made

Hi Jehan! It’s important to treat the veneers the same as you would treat your normal teeth. Make sure to brush along the gumline and floss well. The veneer is bonded to the tooth so no need to clean under the veneer! Happy 4th of July
Thank you for this video. I had an abscess and my periodontist clean It up. However, it look the the teeth next to it must have the same problem because it started to get swollen. I was out of state when it happened so I went to two periodontist of consultation. The first said my gum were not bad. The other said I need cleaning and At the same time bone graft. I don’t know who to believe. to make a long story short, I would like a veneer on that tooth, but it is a little lose and thin out. To make that tooth much stronger do you recommend a bone graft. I was told that bone grafting only works 50% of the time. He did not explain the side effects that come from bone grafting. Can you explain?
My teeth are really reaalllyy brittle and they break and stan even though I brush my teeth 3 times a day and don't eat very acidic things. Im trying to protect my teeth from further damage so should I get this procedure done?

If done properly we should expect the veneers to last around 15 years and even longer if you take awesome care of the veneers through the use of a nightguard and proper hygiene.

Great video! I’m in the process of veneers with my dentist and had my gums lasered and the mock ups done today. I still haven’t seen any digital images of what the veneers will look like on me.. is this standard process or should I be asking to see it?
Hi, I hav zirconia veneers on the front 4 tooth. It looks great so far. I did hav digital images where you can give your suggestions to alter the shapes. I don’t do anything extra to care for the veneers, it’s just the flossing and regular brushing. Use soft bristles. Initially you might feel bit of heaviness on the tooth but u il get used to it.
please dont do it. I have a friend that got veneers and she's getting tooth rot. You are ruining your teeth for life. They will be stubs for the rest of your life and every time you get your veneers replaced you run a greater risk of infection, pain, tooth loss, bone loss, and facial deformities. Also the fact that you might have to get dentures earlier than expected. Any truly reputable dentist that cares about their patients and not just fiending for money will advise against this procedure. Your health is more important and there's no point in getting a procedure that ruins your teeth when there's nothing wrong with them in the first place.
My problem is that my teeth are really short and I want them to look longer. When I open my mouth or talk you can’t see my top front teeth and I also have a lisp. They’re small and a bit chipped and I don’t know what to do and I’d really like some help.
Yes you may have to see a periodontist to have your gingiva ( gums ) reduced This in turn will expose more tooth structure 😁sounds scarier than it really is but see a periodontist for this which is a gum specialist
So.vaneers are possible even when your teeth arnt aligned? Like u dibt have to have braces? I didnt wear my retainer after braces so my one tooth goes right in, also my bite is unusual , everyone seems to going Turkey as it's cheaper to do but I'd rather pay extra and stay in the country
No, a veneer is a very thin layer of porcelain that covers the tooth, it is purely esthetic. To replace the empty space, you can put an implant or a bridge. Also other treatment options could be possible depending on your case. Refer to your dentist to know more about it ;)
I'm already booked to get porcelain veneers in Turkey in a couple of week's,my worry is what and the teeth that are sensitive... should I go and get those treated by the dentist who will see me then or go to my dentist here and have him prep them?
Depends on the dentist-many probably just whiten through a carbamide peroxide system, which doesn't have all of the risks and downsides of veneers. The exception would be those who might have severe defects on their teeth beyond what whitening and bonded fillings can fix, in which case crowns, inlays, onlays, and veneers can be a blessing.
