I want to say thank you for all of the education you have given me… my niece got me into isopod last year… and I started off with a small clutch of Scaber Lemonaides, Japanese Magic Potion and Punta Cana last Christmas.. I wound up building a substrate off of different advice given that was geared to the needs of rubber duckies…. I Recently Added dipping Dots (orange Cream and Oreo Crumble mix) and dairy Cows and And have had a great success.. I am truly a fan of your station.
Hey Rus! I just bought some dwarf whites to start my journey breeding! The company sent me all newborn babies and 1 adult. I thought they came as at least juveniles, but they said it's common practice. I asked, and they said this was common no matter where I went. What size culture do you recommend buying to get a good supply going to populate (4) 30gal bio tanks?
Hey there, I just set up my first Isopod terrarium, but I still haven't put the isopods in it. I put dried common ivy leafs but I can't find if they're ok for isopods. Should I change the substrate?
@@jillebeanthe1st thank you! While doing my research I saw some people saying that they can be overly aggressive and might attack the freshly molted roaches... I will give them a try and add them with my Blaberus colony
@@1colb270 I've not seen any evidence of that in my roach enclosure, thank goodness. Both species are thriving. I suppose it depends on the temperament of the roaches and the isos, though. Good luck trying them out with your Blaberus!
