What a lovely entrance to your homet. Just so inviting and lovely and a great place to catch up with family and friends. Many blessings to you and your home
Teresa, everything looks so nice. Your flowers are growing beautifully outside and the house looks really nice. The putty cat is so very comfortable. Roses are beautiful! Thank you Donna xoxo hello Ben, great job on the porch!
I’ve never seen the pink clover mounds anywhere else! About 25 years ago I received some from a woman (who would be close to 100 now) who told me her great-great-grandmother had the tiny tubers for them in her dress pocket when she came over from Ireland. I took her at her word as she wasn’t the type to exaggerate or even speak too much. She was from KY but I knew her in Cobb Co, GA. You can divide them and spread them through out your property. I agree with you that they’re simply beautiful and wonderful to see when the clumps comes back in the spring and the pink little flowers pop up. Cheers me up! I don’t have any idea what they’re called either, but I agree that they look like clover. Someone else in the comments said her mom called them oxalis (I have purple oxalis) so it may be in that family. Beautiful makeover!
The pink flowers are a type of Oxalis. They have tiny little bulbs under ground .Here in California we get a lot of yellow and it is considered a weed. The same plant is sold around St. Patrick's day as four leaf clover.I have searching for the one that has purple foliage and pink flowers.Hope that helps at least now you can Google it to make sure it is the same flower.Love the porch.Enjoy the summer.God bless.
Your firewood box,you can make a top for it,stencil or add a transfer and seal it for the elements and store a watering cans, extra flower pots not being used, centranella oil, candles, fertilizers, your pillows,or cushions for the times rain is gonna be bad and blow in on them,or summer games stuff too, games, balls, cornhole bags, etc. Everything is beautiful,so clean and fresh, and them flowers are the cherry on top too! 😍😍😍😍
LOVE everything. looks so welcoming and cozy, even Kitty 😸 loves your space. Gorgeous garden and Ben is such an awesome helper, you're so blessed Teresa. Lots of love from Canada ❤❤❤🇨🇦
When you said "hosepipe", I had to look to see where you are. Sure enough, you're an Alabama girl, too. My ex, not a Southerner, bless his heart, just hooted when he heard my word for hose. Love it!
I thoroughly enjoyed this video! I'm doing the same thing where I'm cleaning things off and rearranging what I have in my backyard as well. We have a little cottage so it's fun just to make it even more cottager and cuter than ever. Your ideas are always such a blessing to watch. It always makes me feel like I'm visiting a long-time friend. So where's my coffee? Lol!
Teresa, you and Ben did a fabulous job on your porch. It is truly beautiful, and those lovely roses and the blueberries, Oh my gosh! This video is already one of my all time favorites. Of course, Mater made the video even nicer. Tater must have been hiding under the blueberry bush? Thanks for sharing. God's blessings XO
Theresa, your porch make over looks great. Love the addition of the hanging flower basket and the wall art. You have a very beautiful yard. So many pretty flowers. See ya on the next video Debbie & Grandma Sandy 🌸✂️👱♀️
Teresa and Ben, I really enjoy watching both of your channels. Thanks a bunch for sharing your life and your home with us! Greetings from Pennsylvania!
Lol@you saying, looks like youre having a yard sale! 😂 So heres a little story, one summer it was the first summer of me and my husband dating,so i had moved into his home and we decided we were going to have a yard sale the following 2 weeks from that Saturday! So we have our big car, tractor, backhoe, and skid steering hauling trailers pulled into our front yard,we had priced everything, and no clothing was folded it was all on hangers,we had advertised in our weekly local paper, and even from that monday all week, and the friday, sat.sunday days of yardsale,we advertise, even have signs at all corners from our home, anyway we are out there and folks are ready and waiting at7 am. So We were flocked with yard sellers, and about noon the first day, this man and his wife pull up and ask me and my husband Timmy....are y'all having a yard sale???? My husband and i look at one another, and my husband says to the man before i can say anything, cause i was sitting there and i know the look on my face had go be the look of...He cant be serious 😳🙄🤨🤨🧐 so my husband says............. No the wife likes to bring everything outta the house put it on the lawn on these trailers and we sit and look at it all day, weve been out here since 7 a.m........🤭😅😂OH MY GOODNESS, Teresa I about died from laughing,by noon Timmy and i were so slap happy and it was a hot day too,so we were delirious, anyway the man that ask us if we were having a yard sale, gets out, comes up looks around and says as he and his wife are about to pull off, well you all have a wonderful day,and tells me that I sure had some nice stuff, too bad we weren't selling it😳.....😅😂😅😅😅 My husband Timmy and I laughed for days over that first yard sale we ever had as a couple and about that time we had a yardsale, and its been almost 9 years and every spring my hubby Timmy will ask me, Y'all having a yard sale???? 😂😅🤭🤭🤭🤭 Bless the feller and his wife's heart,I still like to think they really did Not think i just bring all my stuff outta my home, with price tags on it all, just to look at it,but....,........bless it,i honestly believe he believed my Timmy! Anyway, you and Ben enjoy the rest of your week,we are having temperatures in the 80's all week here in Indiana, and I am so excited,my grandbaby Jaxton( he turned 5 in march) stays with me through the week while our daughter Jade and son in law Patrick work, and while Poppy Tim is working, and today my grandbaby said to me,it sure is a beautiful day Nanny,I think we should take a vacation( rest)from house work, and just do nothing but play outside....so Nanny Candy and my grand Jaxton are gonna do just that, all week!! It's gonna be nothing but sunshine, shenanigans, and a whole lotta "vacation" (rest) as Jaxton suggested! Great video amd look forward to your next, everything looks so clean amd refreshed! You have a beautiful home too, Teresa! Biggest hugs and many blessings,Candy here in Indiana 🙏💗
Oxalis articulata. Common name Pink Oxalis or Pink Wood Sorrel. Love the porch refresh and your garden looks really nice! Thanks for reminding me that I need to get out on the porch and clean up the pollen!
Looks gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your cat is really enjoying the porch so, so cute!!!!!! Your roses are gorgeous!!!! Your home and property are beautiful!!!!!!!
Teresa, your porch refresh turned out so pretty! I love ferns but mine always burn up here in Oklahoma 🙁. I loved the flower window metal holder you added with the vincas they’re one of my favorites. And Mator is adorable and he certainly looked comfy 💜💜💜
@@deenaboswell2692 yes Central Oklahoma here too! I’ve tried them in different areas and water them without fail they still burn. I have friends who have them and they do just fine, I think it’s me lol
Teresa, your porch is so inviting and pretty.... love that your baby kitty is trying it out....💞💞💞... love love all of the pink flowers and your roses omgoodness just beautiful....

So pretty...I redid our TINY front porch last year with black/white stripes al la MacKenzie Childs...accents of red...I love it! Wish I had your porch!
Yum! My Sister had blueberry bushes near her house! 😋🔵🔵🔵 Blueberry, pancakes, waffles, muffins, frozen, jam, jelly and syrup!! Blueberry & lemon cake too! 😋🥞🧇🍞🎂🍰🧁🍨
Luv it…..your lawn is gorgeous…..I’m in Miami and we just finished doing over our planting beds and repotting and luv it…..next is our backyard/pool area.
I think those flowers are called Superbells. They come in all kinds of colors. Home Depot and Lowes carry them too. They’re my mom’s favorite 🤩 Image 1 of 4-Pack, 4.25 in. Grande Superbells Cherry Red (Calibrachoa) Live Plant, Pink-Red Flowers
That's a blueberry bush?!! I just bought one but I was expecting a bush... yours is on a trellis?? And it's huge!!! Gorgeous porch and yard... everything is sooo green!! I'm from Texas but now live in Arizona, brown dirt, rocks, bushes we call trees 😞🤣 When I go back home to visit i feel like I'm in the jungle 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Wicker is my favorite!!! Nothing i love more than a wicker chair, ferns and a cool porch to get out of the sun....🥰🥰🥰
Teresa, you're always encouraging & creative. The little pink flowers @ the border are Oxalis, perennial & little clumps can be divided all around the border to maximize the impact. Oxalis is a good perennial w/a single tap root. I have the Walmart blk/wht cushions too. I use the matching loveseat cushion in the backseat of the Model T. Happy Memorial Day! cgzone8
You have such a beautiful out door space all the flowers I have a few roses.. hostas ..and I mainly add annuals out every year in concrete planters ...everything was beautiful..
Teresa you have a beautiful yard. Your roses are fabulous. The porch looks delightful and ready for spring. To me every space should have several cats and dogs to liven things up. I was getting a little worried on Saturday when you didn't post your weekly video. I said a few prayers just in case. Have a blessed week. 🤗🤗😙😗❤
Everything looks beautiful! I live in Western NC & pollen has been horrible! We still have a least another week before I can clean my porch off. I love your cat’s name. Soo cute!
So beautiful, all your flowering is to die for, i love them all. The porch looks great; you and the hubby did a beautiful job; and just proved that a beautiful space doesn't require lots of money or trendy furniture, just love, a little effort, and water.
Sometimes it just takes seeing something you own as someone else’s decor to take a second look at yours and love it again. I have the brown and black rug you have in a bigger size. I’ve had it for several years and was thinking I wanted to replace it but now I just want to give my porch a refresh and I’m sure I’ll love it again.❤️It’s still in great condition thanks for helping me save money😂although I’m sure I’ll find something else to spend it on lol
You pink flowers that are in that last bed, that’s called flowering thrift. Used as a ground cover, comes back ever year and can be transplanted throughout one’s yard!
It is oxalis! It comes in white and also yellow. It is so pretty grouped in bunches and thrives well here in the south. Your home and yard are beautiful
I think the tree is a Oxalis (not sure about the spelling) It was a favorite in our yard when I was growing up Your porch looks amazing I love to redo after a hard winter It just makes you feel happy God bless an Thank you for sharing
Wondered if you have room to angle your little wicker couch. Id love to find one of the wire baskets you added. Our flowers are just coming in. Redbuds already going green.
Yes..that pollen is a killer...esp here in Dahlonega GA. We have to suffer thru it until that wonderful day we can break out our outdoor goodies and go to town. One way that I save myself a lot of big headaches is to store all my outdoor pillows in ziptight bags right after the fall season to save cleaning time in the spring.
Your porch looks so comfy! I enjoy your videos, they are so relaxing and such great ideas. My mother is from East Tennessee and has your clover mounds everywhere in her yard, she calls them shamrocks and they are her favorite flower. We have transplanted many of them to my house and they are looking great!! We even put some in pots and they look good too!!
Yes, the yellow Alabama dust! It’s such a mess! I’ve got to drag everything off the porch, power wash and clean. Just that step alone makes a huge difference. Beautiful job y’all! Enjoy the sunny days before the darn yellow flies and mosquitoes take over.
Your porch is beautifulI love all the touches you did it takes me back to my hometown country home and I like to say makes a perfect piece of your porch he’s a beautiful cat and I love his name. God bless you and your family and thank you for sharing
We in the N.W. get pine pollen. Some times it's so thick that everywhere is solid yellow. I'm allergic to pine scents and this pollen. I have to wear a face mask when it's really heavy.
The clover leaf pink flower can be separated if it’s what I have the root is like a little been. Replant one little been and you will have a new bunch before long. It loves sun. Not sure what it is. I got it from in-laws. Not sure they knew. It can get a little dry when it gets really hot and in winter. Mine is beautiful right now.
It looks like the clover is not a clover but a pink oxalis or pink wood sorrel. The flowers close at night and various parts of the plant taste like sour lemon.
It is oxalis and you can put the tubers it makes in the soil and it will grow just do a little because it will take over. a wonderful plant and I have it everywhere also loved the video and take care
