Pork belly is a special menu that often see in Pinoys meal typically in celebration like Birthday, Anniversary, Christmas and most often in New Years eve. But most of the Pinoy like to make this Pork belly in different method of cooking and you may often see this recipe in drinking session which we refer it as “Pulutan”.
Today I’m going to show you how we make this Pork Belly crunchier and juicier cooked in Oven.
Ingredients:
For Brine solution (boil it in maximum 5 minutes)
2 liters of water
3 pieces/1 kilo each of Pork belly
1 whole piece Onion
1 whole piece Garlic
1 spring of lemon grass
1 spoon of whole black pepper
2 pcs bay leaves
2 spoons of salt
For Oven (275degree in 4 hours)
Garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, ground white pepper, salt, lemon grass and onion leaves
