Interesting that the Tories were so interested in promoting trade with China. Six years ago, China and India were their main target economies with which to replace the EU. Not that those two states provided the least chance of replacing the UK's trade with its nearest and most reliable trading partners, the EU. Ironically, we still rely on EU trade.
