Thanks. I needed the stock recipe. I followed all except the red dates. Tasted just like a good hawker chu yoke fun when a little msg was added and a big dollop of fried lard and oil. Sooo good. Thank you! 😃😃😃 I don’t understand why you added oyster sauce to the mince meat. Minced pork is very tasty with sesame oil, sugar, salt and pepper. Cornstarch is a must of coz. But the natural sweet taste of meat comes through without the oyster sauce.
3 kinds of meat: Pork bones, Chicken Carcass, Old Chicken (whole), I would add chicken legs cut half (6 nos whole), chicken gizzards (after boil few hours cut slices serve in noodles bowl also), fried garlic 1 tbsp, abalone sauce 2 tbsp, rock sugar, dry herbs mention salt, 1 tbsp light soy sauce. I am sure soup will taste nice already. Another optional ingredients is sweet too is daikon (cut cubes bite size) into the soup. Don't put too much because of its strong taste. For tui (Chinese ham or flat fish flounder) also make great soup (more rich base taste)
