Dagdag aroma Ang garlic. Yes' is not belong in the traditional, but I makes now that bawang as additional ingredients now. The taste so yamy... Isabay LNG sa karne sa pag papakulo para madurog sya.. dati hindi ko ginagawa, Pero now sobrang sarap nya if May garlic 🧄 dapat marami. ​@@jermi08

Pork Sinigang- Boiling is the traditional way. Boil the pork with cubed/sliced onions. Add a little salt and cook on medium heat until pork is tender. Add more water, seasonings, labanos (radish), and gabi (edoes). Cook for about 5-10 minutes then add sliced eggplant/aubergines, okra, 4-5 medium ripe tomatoes. Continue cooking for a further few minutes. Add kangkong and sampaloc nearing end of cooking time or once all vegetables are nearly cooked. There should be a lot of liquid or sabaw. Add more seasoning or sampaloc as preferred. There are milkfish and/or prawns version of sinigang BUT none required garlic so no, not needed. Thanks for putting Filipino cuisine online.😊

@@TastetoShare No, nilaga has onions, gabi, cabbage, pechay, potato, unpeeled saba/plantane. We make eggplant vinegar e salads. Best when eaten with mashed potatoes(Americanized nilaga😋) We don't add tomatoes to nilaga.

i used to cook my sinigang this way before. I went back to the traditional way when i learned about the harmful effects of consuming synthetic oil in our body and you cannot remove the scum this way. Mas mabilis din makaumay pag may synthetic oil.

My Lola’s way of cooking sinigang is the old or traditional way…. No gisa gisa…. But she put the chopped tomatoes and onions in the pan… lagyan ng asin at lamasin… durugin sa paglamas to extract juices. Lagyan ng konting tubig… just enough to submerge the tomatoes and onions. Boil to extract more juices… then add more water. When it boils again, add the proteins… beef, pork, fish or shrimp (sa isda at hipon, puede lagyan ng luya)! And the rest of the procedure is traditional… add vegetables… hard ones first… soft ones follows! Voilá…. Kainan na….. dagdagan ang sinaing!!!

Mas better before you cook the meat banlian ng boiled water for about 30 sec bawas amoy at dumi then proceed cooking at before ilagay pang asim remove set aside the veg para green at fresh pa tingnan

I’m going to try this, it’s more work and calories (extra oil) than the traditional method , but I’m sure the flavour is more intense. Especially with garlic

Looks good but I would omit the garlic, as it is not really part of the sinigang taste. We do this with fish, sinigang sa miso. Saute first before adding fish and then water and souring agent. Thanks for sharing!

Boiling talaga alam ko s sinigang, panahon p ng mga lolo at lola ko boiling n ginagawa nila.. pero ginagawa ko din itong style mo minsan kasi mas malasa pag ginigisa.

Same ng process ko pinapabrown ko pa nga ng konte yung pork. For me there's nothing wrong if you add garlic mag add pa nga sya ng iba flavor distinct di ba. Yung iba nga baka di na malasahan na may garlic yung sinigang. Uso naman ngayon ang lumalayo sya traditional way of cooking

Each province has different style of cooking sinigang bikol tagalog ilocano and wcs in Dubai pilioino restaurant they put all together and boil d water after wow it taste knorr sinigang mix😅

Parboil pork for 5 minutes then drain and wash thoroughly. This is to get rid of any gunk in the pork. Your recipe looks really good but I prefer the traditional no sautéing version, with fresh minced garlic, onion and tomatoes. The tomatoes reduce the porky smell. Chicken bouillon is fine. Mashing some of the gabi or potatoes in the soup towards the end thickens it and adds another layer of flavor. Blanch vegetables separately and shock them in iced water if you want to keep them bright green. Just add to the serving bowl before serving. Sprinkle with WHITE ground pepper and a drizzle of avocado oil or olive oil, with a squeeze of lemon or calamansi, optional. Enjoy!

By cooking the veggies with the broth, your making the veggies soggy from too much heat.. You can blanch the soft veggies then include them before serving.. While the harder veggies stays in the broth until softer then remove from broth & include them before serving.. This way the textures of the veggies are just right.. Also, you can boil the pork first to tenderize then add them to saute.. Notice you keep checking if meat is tender during the boil..

This style 3:26 of cooking sinigang maybe okay but I boil the meat first to remove impurities & bacteria, discard the water then cook the meat in a pan with olive oil for about half hour add red onions, add hot water, bring to a boil add tomatoes taro soots cover then add kang kong then the long sweet pepper. Season with fish sauce.

Ganyan dn po kami magluto ng sinigang ginigisa po nmin pero di kami naghahalo ng bawang mas msarap po napiprito po yung karne bgo ihalo yung kamatis hnggang s madurog yung kamatis saka nmin nilalagyan ng tubig pra palambutin nmn yung karne.

no one says its traditional.. saute ing the meat will remove any bad odor from the meat.. tapos ayaw nio pa ng bawang! the procedure is very good.. many of you says, just boil it.. but it will always depend on the quality of meat you have.. mabantot ang karamihan ng karne ng baboy ngaun.. buti kaya nio pakuluan na lang😂😂 gisahin nio nman.. puro kayo traditional.. iba noon, kaysa ngaun
