También mi abuelito falleció 9-18-21 por edad y tristeza.Yo también nunca pensé que nunca los volveré abrazar. Los extraño mucho y trato de hacer feliz y distraer a mi mamá. Working in a nursing home for years it does make you feel and appreciate life more. I definitely appreciate my parents a lot more since moving out❤️ it breaks my heart because you never know what tomorrow has planned for you. That’s why I try my best to enjoy it and be thankful. Life does go by fast and I didn’t notice it until I had my daughter ❤️

The pain got to the point que no podía ni bañar ni cargar a mi baby por no tener la fuerza y me dolía súper feo! I ended up massaging it everyday used icy hot patches y lo que funciono like magic was ice until numbing my entire area 🧊
This is why when I was working in the nursing home girllllllllllllllll I tried my hardest to help the people there especially when Covid hit because nobody was able to go into the facilities and it was just so sad that some of them would talk about their kids and how they wanted them to come but they wouldn’t let them in. I always tried making them happy because at the end of the day they too are just human and we all just want love and respect, I know that not at all nursing home it’s like that but I tried my hardest because I know at some point I’m going to get old and all I wish for is for love and respect. Girl I remember going home and crying, literally watching this takes me back to those days where you just put life into perspective and how everything is so precious 😭🥺🥺
I’ve lost two grandparents with Alzheimer’s and it truly is so hard to watch them forget us when they’ve raised us and have always been with us through so much. Seeing your abuelita so happy and full of love in her eyes with you guys visiting her is so heartwarming!! 🤍🤍

💜💜💜 I used to be a caregiver for people with Alzheimer’s and it was very hard to see how they couldn’t remember or communicate with their loved one. Alzheimer’s is such an ugly disease because it doesn’t just affect memory but it also brings affects other aspects of health. Just a word of advice, try to be active and involved in their life even thought she is getting care by others. From experience these centers can act like they do things in the best interest of your loved one but it’s not always true. Not saying all places are equal but you never know what goes on behind doors. So please, check up on your loved one as often as possible.
Omg looking your videos with your grandma it bring me so much memories of when I went to visit my grandpa. My grandpa also had Alzheimer. He recognize me but he couldn’t say my name anymore but he knew it that I was her granddaughter. My grandpa pass away last year but I’m so happy I saw him the last time I went. I feel your pain because it’s so hard seeing a person your loved not being available to recognize you and now being available to touch them.

I just saw your video I sat here crying and got so emotional I know how you feel unfortunately I had to also put my mom in a nursing home due to dementia back in November seeing your grandma brought back old feelings I was also so heartbroken it broke my heart to leave her, but sometimes we have to make a hard decision for a love one, I visit her once a week as so do my sisters and we now know it was the best for my mom so want to send payers and say your grandma is in good hands God Bless you and your family..

Comadre i got carpal tunnel during my pregnancy that pain that you have it’s exactly what I felt i started sleeping with a hand brace and it helped a lot it eventually went away!
I had to stop at like mark 13 min . It reminded me of ,y grandma cus she also has Alzheimer’s and it’s just sad to think about how one day they just lose all those memories ): I’m glad you guys visited her and did all that for her and let the other around there enjoy that day too
