As part of the major #S21 project in Stuttgart, PORR isn't merely delivering 34 km of state-of-the-art slab track and two turnouts within the tunnel; we're expanding our portfolio for the Deutsche Bahn by delivering the electrical equipment installation.
Witness cleaner, eco-friendly practices as traditional diesel-engine machinery gives way to electric-powered equipment during the slab track construction. Over 9 km of dead-end tracks have been seamlessly installed alongside structural and electrotechnical works, both with and without pre-mounted long rails - the system’s first and revolutionary approach.
Through technical adaptability and ingenious logistics solutions, we've already achieved 90% completion of the track construction, setting new benchmarks in efficiency and precision, and prioritising safety in every facet of our work.
