In this video I don’t show the specifics for disassembling the the console or installing the replacement 996 emergency brake switch part. There are tons of good videos on RU-vid that already show how to do that. Instead, this is a post installation test of the fix and a contingency manual override I wired on a switch in the event the park brake fails again down line. Just tap into the two wires to the switch and create a new switch however you like. I’m also able to low speed open and close the top as a result now.
