Classic Porsche 911 996 first start in seven years. Not a barn find or abandon but definitely a find! Will it start? What problems will we have? Our car was left unloved after the owner bought a Ferrari 550 and 991. Our expert uses his laptop scanner to diagnose. We have a great deal of fun with this beautiful vintage sports car! The lights on my 911 996 dash go off at an amount of time passes, or I lock my car.

Thank you. This is helpful. I’m new to these cars. I just got the key fobs working today. I will check that out tomorrow. They seem to take a ridiculous amount of time to go off. Thank you for being here.

@@SinnerGarage They take a long time to turn off, but I think it's normal. It will drain your battery if you don't lock your door, so they turn off, so be sure to lock your door. Hit me up if you have any other questions about the car. I've had mine for a while. The big thing is the IMS bearing. Ensure it's done, or get it done with your clutch and rear main seal.
