This is AWESOME. The best model which you ever build. I really appreciate the customisation and paintings. You know that is 1 of 1 so it make it rear birds

Very impressive Build! Only the stance let see it's not a 1:1 scale. You could be proud of this one.

That is a sweet gorgues looking car. All that masking showed a perfect result. Was worth following the whole build,and now the compressed video makes it even better.

Thank you so much for your patience in watching this really long full build video! It means a lot to me that you find the content worth watching. Thanks again! I was a bit scared of sharing such long content, as I thought no one would watch it. 40 minutes is quite a lot!

Fantastic! You can be happy and satisfied with a final result. Great model Mr. Adhoc! Very rare one now. I haven't seen another model like yours! Nooooo... Bardzo ładnie to wyszło. Bardzo dużo pracy, ale efekt końcowy był tego warty!

Thanks!! I am really happy that it's over :D it was a lot of time spent on this project but it was definietly worth it! it's the one and only! I haven't see anyone doing it before 😀 dzieki! jest kilka błędów można by wyciagnać z tego projektu jeszcze więcej: obniżyć zawias, zrobic wnętrze na wzór prawdziwego, pomalować felgi, wytrzeć bieżnik... aleeee wystarczy :D kola mozna zrobić w kazdej chwili! narazie jest pod gablotką i tak zostanie :D

Great model, great editing, but just one thing to make it better would be adding the 'timepoints?' u know the things on the video telling what you are doing!

Thanks for your feedback! I am really happy that you find my content valuable; it motivates me to work even harder on the next projects! The Oldsmobile and Plymouth videos were edited in a more tutorial way, which shows in a more informative manner what is happening in each step. I learned through a trial and error approach and am still looking for the right solutions to some challenges. I haven't touched areas like weathering, color mixing, or blending, but maybe I will dare to try them someday! :)

Wow! Now I've seen everything: using a laser light. Strictly out of my league I'm afraid. Look yonder and weep! The detail and precision is just amazing.
@AdHocCars
@AdHocCars 9 месяцев назад
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm delighted that you enjoyed the video. I used a laser light to achieve those straight lines in this project. When I started, I struggled with keeping my lines precise, and the laser light turned out to be a great tool for that! 😂 You don't necessarily have to go that route; using your eyes and rulers works just as well for aligning lines! :D However, due to my not-so-great eyesight, I was on the lookout for something that would make the process easier. Are you considering building the Fujimi kit for the Porsche 911 GT3R as well? :) Thanks again!

@@AdHocCars thanks for that. I'm new to airbrushing and began with a cheapie and a basic Porsche from Tamiya. I'm struggling trying to get the pressure and the distance right. I only have a mini compressor with 3 speeds so the pressure is unknown. My second colour coat was a bit powdery and chalky, fragile and susceptible to finger marks. This was Vallejo Model Color. Thanks for the video.
@AdHocCars
@AdHocCars 9 месяцев назад
You are very welcome! I've been there too-trying to find the right pressure, thinning the paint, or keeping the distance right. Don't rush, and take your time. A hobby should entertain, not bring you down! 😊 If it comes to Vallejo, I haven't tried them, but it is said that Tamiya is perfect for airbrushing, while Vallejo is great for brush painting. However, there are plenty of Vallejo paint series, so you never know until you try it yourself. Fingers crossed! How is your project going? 😊
@johncater7861
@johncater7861 9 месяцев назад
@@AdHocCars well, for the second time ( it takes me a while to learn) I have found that I should never ever use Vallejo gloss varnish in an airbrush unless you mean to use an 0.5. it just gunks everything up even after thinning. So, after some days of masking I sprayed another colour coat but am wary of handling it for the next day or so. We shall see!

White masking tape: I've been using Tamiya 2mm and 3mm but it only sits temporarily. Keeps peeling back up. Shall have to specify masking tape for curves and try some other make. AK?
@AdHocCars
@AdHocCars 9 месяцев назад
Well, I have the same issue with white masking tape-it doesn't stick as well as the yellow one. It's also a bit thicker, making it challenging to use on lightly bent surfaces. In the 911 G-Model video, I used white masking tape for the bumper, and it did its job perfectly. I thought of using it on really curvy surfaces like the interior of the headlights, but it didn't work well; it kept peeling back all the time. So, I would say white masking tape is great for fancy lines on even surfaces or lightly bent ones, but for other intricate designs, handmade templates from the yellow one are the best. I haven't tried AK yet; I still have plenty of white Tamiya tape. Once it runs out, I will give AK a try, probably, as I've heard some positive feedback about this brand. 😀
