Sorry to break it to you but that dealer must not think your relationship is as strong as you think it is. 100k over plus trade in for a pull car doesn't sound like a deal at all. Someone with no purchase history probably could get that deal. Time to get in bed with another dealer!

100k ADM + unfavorable trade on a car you don't get to spec doesn't seem like much of a relationship. I bet I could get that "deal" without no prior relationship with a dealer.

I love Porsche, but I think the answer might be a 458 Italia and then 992 GT3RS when everything has cooled down. If you have more than 2-3 modern Porsches, then I'd go for something that's different. McLaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus, Aston Martin etc.

In the Uk the cars are never sold over retail if you buy new, yes it is hard to get allocation and you need to build a relationship by buying loads of cars.

It’s funny that you think it’s a relationship. It’s not. My local Porsche dealership does not charge over MSRP on GT cars. The relationship is that you play the game with them, trade it back in a few months and split the profit.

Relationships are a two way street, the first dealership wanting 150k over is an insult imo. Go with the second dealership, its clear to anyone that is a much better offer

Go for the other dealership. Especially if pts. If the local dealership won't give you the same rate and not having to forgo a car; than this can be a chance to relish a new and better relationship.

You have a PTS gt4 rs at the other plus a build spot for a new gt3rs! Sounds like it’s time to work on your relationship with the dealer and forget about the other one

Wait for the build slot. The fact that this other dealer can't (won't) even match the 75k over deal on a car that's not your spec is rather insulting given you have "built a relationship" (spent a lot of money) there. They probably just have more people behind you on the list willing to pay 100k - 150k over

It is best to wait in order to build your dream car. I think Porsche should give any special car PTS allocation as standard. Maybe that would offset this Ferrari mindset that true Porsche lovers are facing. It is disappointing with all the cars you bought at your local dealership and they still cannot give you a better deal. My dream garage will be targa 4s with 991.2 GT3RS. Unless they make a more practical 992 and I can build my own.

Not worth paying over, When you go to sell it one day the dealer will want to make 50k profit or more so you will just lose another more money in the end unless you keep it forever, And they will want you 4rs for less money so they can make more money so you lose again with the 4rs and the 3rs, It's all about losing money Also I don't understand why Porsche is still making 3rs they never made RS more than one year before. The only thing I can think of is the Chines market getting pulled and sold in North America and they have a few builds left to sell for this year.
