Thanks for the video helped me install my loose rearview mirror on my Porsche 958 after a windshield replacement. I guess the techs didn’t know how to reinstall it and left it loose.
HI. what. year was this 911? I have a turbo S 2017 and am trying to figure out how to get into that garage door and courtesy light panel. I think its the same as what you are showing. how did you get that first cover off (the one with the delicate tabs? did it just pry off by hand? was there a trick to it. and then did you just grab the unit underneath and pry it off of did you push something to get those clips on the left and right to give? Please help me out. Thanks. by the way, the mirror looks great!!
So do you turn or twist the rear view mirror to remove it or pull it straight out from the window? I need to send my mirror to have a radar detector display installed in it and don’t want to break my mirror or windshield
Rocky Stallone thanks! Generally they will ship you the part and charge a core fee which they refund upon receiving your original. Some shall parts don’t require a core. Some larger parts like the visors they require you ship your originals and go without for the fabricating time.
It’s a blend mount. Just google that. I combined a corvette mount and the Porsche mount. It gets the detector closer to you. Call them. They are awesome.
YOLOfotos I’m getting ready to order but have a few questions- did you get the factory color stitching on your accessories? Frank can do a blue that matches my exterior color pretty well, but I have factory leather with grey stitching and it might look funky with half blue- half gray. Thanks.
@@bobbygfl discreet sensors in the front grille is another good option and your radar indicator buzzer and light mounted inside the drivers side air vent ... great if you're entering a state or country where they're illegal.
