acchaladka Honestly I used to be really opposed to the 4 cylinder boxster and cayman. i loved that 6 cylinder sound, but I think the 4 cyclinder move actually makes alot of sense, given Porsche's history with their more affordable cars having a 4 cylinder.

My first car was a 1990 944 S2 and I loved that car. Finances are tighter than they used to be and a 924 may be the next purchase.

I got a 1977 Porsche 924 that I love with sparco seats and nitrous you no just in case some Honda Civic thinks it can smoke me lol good thing is that it only has 45k miles on it maxes out at 150mph the Porsche 924 is just a great affordable car mine is cherry red great for picking up chicks and getting the cops attention lol😂

I think it's an Audi 100 engine, but was also used in VW vans.

Audi was owned by VW, and the car contained parts from both manufacturers. The engine block came from an Audi 100.

Zircemerald lol right. The block from the AUDI 100 was made by VW, i said VW because that's the main mother company. Porsche and audi are sister company's. Makes more sense to use nomenclature from the main company...

Zircemerald Guys no Audi ENGINE involved, the first motor (924 and 924 turbo only till 81) was developed by 70's VW LT(yes, the work van!) which had originally like 75 Hp brang to 125 hp..There's instead Audi mechanics (but the engine) and other parts by Audi and VW (yes, same family already at the time) .
