the951racer Hi, what transmission did you use in your 944?

No major mods for RPM; just stiffer springs for the cam and Comp Cams rocker arm trunions. Redline is set at 6500rpm but i typically shortshift anyhow. The motor is an LS1 from an '04 GTO so it has the LS6 intake and LS6 block. Still a 5.7L with the stock 241 heads.

It was a custom exhaust; 2.5" off the headers to a single 4" with Borla XR-1 muffler.

Yes, i ran it with the Turbo S transmission. Held up fine, just don't launch it.
