Usually brakes are extremely hot, so probably is that often

because the disks reach 800°C while braking and sometimes rubber taken on track burns when the car is stopped and the disks are not cooled.

Fire will go away when the car starts moving again plus the fire helps keep the tyres warm 😂

I'm guessing it supposed to be like that cause when the drivers brake hard the entire braking system glows red or yellow..especially at night when they're racing

Wow..Watch a lot of these WEC races but I'd not seen them ignore burning discs, swap wheels and send it flamin away lol. I understand how/why they can, or rather why they dont bother to try to put it out ....but damn, thats no joke! Love what they've done with the WEC so far..fingers crossed. Sports cars this year has been pretty killer, next year looks to be even better.........
