That's the way a Dyno pull should be recorded. Did anyone else notice that it shifted so fast the car barely lifted during gear changes. Simply amazing piece of engineering
shark2u6 The new GT3 with manual transmission has a NO-Lift shift feature, so you don’t have to left your foot off the gas while you shift gears. It is a nice feature. Mark
You sir are spot on with your senses. I use pure Titanium knives and they are sharp, fast, sleek and smooth too, the review is below, (youtube link) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QoBT9_Scw-M.html
@Richard Skipper maybe try that the day is not shitty? and you can super relax even after shitty days in your cocoon-luxury car where the outside world is not bothering you. decompressing so to speak :D - but i guess its just prefernce. I get goose bumps hearing the Porsches blasting by or sitting in one around the Nordschleife (luckily i live in Germany and can go there often), thats how much i love combustion engine exhaust sounds. But at the same time, after having driven a couple of Merc S Classes, i know what that is all about and am seriously hooked to that luxury feeling.
I believe that happens when the DSG/PDK has the wrong gear pre-selected. Partial throttle upshifts and downshift confuse the computers. It happens on every dual-clutch car.
Yes it does. When they're correctly preselected it's just a clutch 1 to clutch 2 swap which is instant. When the wrong one is preselected it's a clutch 1 release, gear change from (say you're in 3rd) 2nd (bad preselect) to 4th (next gear to go in) then 2nd clutch grab. Takes a little longer as the system is expecting you to downshift as it was a lower rev shift full throttle, not upshift
Because overtly complicated sensor systems are a pain in the ass to access to disengage. the differing speed reports from ABS sensors would trigger limp mode probably.
How much weight does that save over the stock exhaust? Edit: answered my own question. 31 lbs less over stock exhaust (according to advertisement video). That’s the real story here. The sound is just the bonus.
That makes sense. My Yamaha R1 had 180hp without Ram air and 189 ( Crank ) when it kicked it. And that was before I custom flashed it after installing a full Akrapovic exhaust system !! LOL Bike weighed 375 lbs dry.
