As someone that lives with a turbo s, this exhaust definitely does sound great but only makes a slight difference. I've been driving it for about 4 months now and I definitely wouldn't swap out the stock exhaust. People need to hear it in real life and they would understand. I don't think its justifiable paying 12,000 for such a slight difference although it ultimately does sound good.
Not a hater here, but in my opinion for over 12 grand this lacks to impress. The stock PSE is a significant upgrade over the previous gen which didn't have the PSE available. Yes, even the new turbo isn't as loud as it's competitors stock but it somewhat fits the characteristics of that car. I'm sure the video doesn't do it justice, but at the end of the day that's a lot of money to invest in metal tubes that doesn't sound much better than stock.
Maybe so, and I don’t videos do justice. Kline did an amazing job for the 991 turbos, I hope they can do the same with the 992, makes it sound more like a gt3 with turbos.

Frank I agree. It kinda botches the sound of the car. So many aftermarket systems for the Turbo S overdo it with the pops and make it sound like a suped up Focus RS rather than a quarter million dollar Porsche. Good and Bad is subjective and I encourage anyone to do with their own car what they like, but I think you made an accurate description of this exhaust system. Should also be closer to 5 grand not 12. Wack.
NOTE: USE HEADPHONES or decent external speakers will enough bass to listen. So much better, deeper than stock and the Pops are seriously loud 💯 Full system price approx: €12.000,-
I love the 992 Turbo S and I understand people wanting to get a little more sound out of it, but most the exhaust systems are overpriced crap. Akra is no exception. The Fabspeed one sounds okay and I like the GMG one sounds decent, but has no valves... Anyways one of the few downsides with this car is always going to be the sound, but if you can get over that it's nearly perfect in every other way. Sounds good ... for a Turbo.... not sure id bother with an exhaust on a Turbo bc it goes from 4 to 6 out of 10. Just listened to akrapovic on GT4 and GT3 and really shows you how bad the turbo sounds. It’s like bald guys trying to hide that they’re bald .. just accept it sounds bad and move on, don’t pursue this Sisyphean task.
@@tho_075_4 At the scrapyard where it belongs. No matter what kind of exhaust you are putting on a 992 Turbo (S) IPE, Capristo, AWE, Akrapovic. They still make this car sound like shit. 12 grand for this shit🤐 The only guys that seems to fit the bill with exhaust on turbo based cars are from Novitec
@@mjoosten6916 JCR, Kline ( still not revealed I know) , Fabspeed, GMG are way to go. Headers and catless x-pipe make those cars really loud. But you don't buy Turbo's for the sound.
